The King now have ELITE wings! Add in Keegan Murray Malik and Sabonis this team can be scary. They definitely need more size, back up center or a big power forward but, I think this roster can be really good as this roster is constructed right now. GO KINGS

A shot blocking back up center is exactly what we need. Lyles can hold down the back up 4. A defensive 3 or 5 is just what the doctor ordered.

ill just say it: this team is still the team that won 7 in a row! and the best games in that stretch were w/o Fox! we had a bad stretch due to the trade rumors, and the team figuring out its identity w/wo Fox. add Lavine and hopefully a backup center to that team we saw win 7 in a row (and cidy can hopefully help the bench - he's bigger than Fox), then yes, we are in CONTENTION. @@briangoodner8680 @ it IS a big enough sample size when every game with fox was worse, and every game without him was better. 12 games? do you know what the odds of the results working out that way 100% over 12 games or so are? its statistically impossible. if you flip a coin 12 times and it comes up heads every time, then its heads on both sides. sure, i understand he's injured. but that doesnt make me want to keep him. he was going to leave anyways. trade now for the best deal, or keep him and the team plays worse with him for the rest of the season, he walks, we dont get lavine, the picks, or sidy. THAT would been the disaster. youre emotionally reacting, possibly bc you like fox. its understandable, and its ok to miss him - friends leave and we are naturally sad, but youre also letting it cloud your judgment

Great to hear about the defense of lavine! Fox is a better defender but he doesn’t always try on that end. Bad close outs, ball watching, bitching at the refs, ect. Sounds like Zach puts in the effort.

There are a lot of scorrers on this team now. It will be interesting to see how Lavine adjusts to having a lower usage rate. Some guys need that high usage rate to maintain their efficiency and effectiveness, whereas others become more efficient with fewer shots.

The difference between Lavine and Fox Is that Lavine is huskier stronger and better defender. He can also shoot threes. Barring from injuries he will do very good. The kings should be able to beat the magic tomorrow in Sacramento. Hopefully, Lavine can play. I am excited to see Lavine and DeRozan play along side each other.You can also see Murray attacking the basket and he looked confident and look good.

I'm still skeptical, but I sincerely hope I am wrong. Like I said, LaVine is great, and we CAN win without Fox. But our MAIN goal is the postseason. We will not win in the postseason without length and defense. That is a guarantee. But I am sincerely hoping we can get the length and defense needed especially at the forward position, and I sincerely hope that all of our guys buy in into a true defensive spirit that will bring us to postseason success.

Lavine has never experienced A live crowd that supports their players so much. He Is absolutely going to thrive in Sacramento. Lavine is so used to being hated on and dismissed He now has A great chance to change the narrative and be with A team that really needs Him and embraces Him. Fox turned into dead weight. 140 point games by the opponent in 2/3 games says it all as far as his 'lesdership' and how much He was invested. Fox didn't just have one foot out the door. It turns out He had both of them. It was time to turn the page. The best time ever since Fox arrival . Fox didn't have the will or wherewithal to take the Kings to the next level . But He most definitely turned them around and got them in the right direction. The energy of this trade just feels right. All I know is I'm betting ALOT on the Kings tomorrow

I absolutely love DeMar on this team, but if the Kings want a balanced roster.....I think they might have to consider trading DeMar while he has some value. He's making 30 mil a year, right? What is they could trade him and get a center and wing who provide some size, length and defense? I saw this one idea where they trade DeMar, Lyles, and Carter to the Grizz for Santi Aldama, Brandon Clarke, and Marcus Smart. I would hate to see DeMar go, but he's the only asset they can trade to really balance out this roster.
