This is one of my favorites... and very special to me as it was a worship song to me when I was hospitalized for a month, diagnosed with leukemia and underwent chemotherapy from that point into the years to follow. I am now in full remission and no longer needing chemo or any meds. That is my story of the storm I went through recently. We all have storms... Jesus told us we will be hit by storms in this life... we just need our lives to be firmly built on the Rock, on Jesus. This happens when we surrender our life to Jesus, asking Him to save us and forgive us, making us His born again child. Then, as He helps us grow, we need to live the way He teaches us in the Bible. That will help us stand strong on Him. If we don’t live what we have heard... we are on sinking sand... and will fall in destruction when the storms hit. And when the storm hit me, I told the Lord I trusted Him and put myself in His hand to carry me through. I read my Bible everyday and shared gospel tracts to every worker or volunteer that came into my room or did tests on me. My focus was on Jesus and others... my purpose to share the Lord was my focus... and His presence helped me through. He is faithful and does what He promised! Thank You, Jesus!
