The algorithm works in mysterious ways. Honestly this just sounds like advise to ignore the glowing red stove, it's not going to burn you. When I was younger and looking for something serious, you know the marriage and kids thing. I would dump and ghost anyone I found out had been with another guy. Also I didn't go sleeping around myself out of respect for my future wife. Didn't think of people who did sleep around in a bad way I just didn't want anything to do with it since I just don't see relationships as disposable. Fast forward to middle age. No kids and not going to have any Casual sex is okay with me now even though I'm still meh about it. But you have no idea how happy I can be with myself that I didn't bring any unwanted kids into a temporary fling.
