Since you helped us, I'm going to help you! The "Llama" is called a "Angular Beam 90 degree with 4 Snaps" and is a "special" piece. And the "Parallel Peg things" are called "Beam 3 M. with 4 Snaps" But, I like your versions better!

Plus, what can you use if you don't have those 2 pieces. Thank you so much!

+Bhargav Chandramouli Thanks for the technical names! Now I know! Which two pieces are you referring too? The so called “llama” and “parallel peg things”? If so, there are option with axles that could be implemented. With the 45 degree axle connecters.

Thank You! But turns out, our place has the two pieces and we built the attachment! Thanks again!

Hi! First of all, I'd like to thank you for your great video! It inspired my team, team 26361 a lot. Also, can you do a video of the pump addition mission? My team is somewhat stuck on that one and I think it would really help if we got some inspiration. Thanks!
@ZacharyTrautwein7 жыл бұрын
+DragonGamerPrince 26361 hi! The pump addition is a touch one! There are multiple ways to tackle that mission. I’ll share some thought in a video.

The robot is accurate in its movements with large wheels? When we try, at first, it takes a shift to the left. An idea?
@ZacharyTrautwein7 жыл бұрын
+Isj P6 my students have found that the robot is far more with the larger wheels. As there is a little bit of imperfection in the EV3 motors themselves I would suggest making sure that you back up against a wall for 1 second and let the back bumpers of the robot make your robot square against the wall in base then move forward. This engages the motors and allows for more straight of a travel. Also, the slower you go, the straighter you go. What motor power/Speeds are you running at?
@ROBOTICACADEMY7 жыл бұрын
We made trips with an engine power of 50. If I follow your advice, it is to stall the robot and move it more slowly? Can we draw inspiration from your videos for the preparation of our runs? We are a primary class and my students are 11 years old. thank you in advance
@ZacharyTrautwein7 жыл бұрын
+Isj P6 sure! Draw all the inspiration you can! I usually advise my students to run no more than 30 motor speed.

ok thank you for your advice. Can we quote you in our preparations? Do you want to know about our evolution? Good to you

We've found that no matter what the robot doesn't go exactly straight forward unless we use the gyro; it can detect tiny changes in the direction, and we use those errors to send a small amount of more power to one motor, and a small amount less to the other motor, to bring the heading back to zero. Today at our meeting we turned that into a myBlock & we've made a couple how-to videos.
