man, honestly of all the tracks you've raced, this looked most like something i'd like to go ride on a weekend with a few friends. plenty of wide 3/4 track rut sections where line choice matters - some tight technical spots but still not so tight you can't choose alternate lines - some hills that you can get on the powerband on but you're not scared of not making it and tumbling to your death. Whoever laid out this course needs to get a job with my nearest trail system lol well done sick bros

This honestly means alot to me, I designed and built the course. This was our first harescramble and we had everything working against us but we got it done the best we could.

@@Kdeleo I rode the beginner Quad class (i go more for fun but i still try to lay a bit of heat) and honestly i loved the course, had a bit of everything, the mud kicked my butt but the course was really fun and it sucked when my quad stopped running right. Me and my dad both really enjoyed that course, it was like nothing ive ever ridden before. Ive always said ive wanted to try log/tire hopping and i got to that section of the track and just went "what are they doing with us???" then when i got there on lap two i was super excited to launch it again! I was nervous because i never ran something too similar to this and it was great fun, maybe next time i need a bit more commitment and try to get faster over the motoX section! That top mud section though (at no fault of you), was absolute hell and i kinda like it for that reason, it tested my trail reading skills!

My complaint with the four stroke coming off the two stroke was that the two stroke was actually smoother because the four stroke had so much dang torque, it would blow the wheels off where I could moderate my wheel spin better on the two stroke.
@MxRider7213 жыл бұрын
2 strokes make more torque than 4 strokes, it's dyno proven over and over again. Are you talking about comparing a 450 to a 250? Cause that's like saying my bigger engine bike has more torque than my smaller engine bike.
@brandonwiant8143 жыл бұрын
@@MxRider721 no, 250 2stroke to 4stroke. The power delivery of the low end of each bike when you ride them back to back, the 250f is very hard hitting in the low end till you get to the mid revs, my two stroke which I race week after week is a more linear power curve throughout. This has nothing to do with dyno, this has to do with how the power curves are between each bike. The 250f was much more aggressive on bottom and pulled harder compared to my 250 2stroke.
@MxRider7213 жыл бұрын
@@brandonwiant814 I get the feeling you've never seen a dyno map of a 2 stroke vs 4 stroke. Or maybe don't fully understand what it means.. And on top of that you fell for the marketing brainwashing intended to convince everyone to believe 4 strokes are faster. Check my channel you'll see me and my buddies, some of whom ride 250fs are always switching rides for fun. We all have tons and tons of back to back experience and there is no question, none at all, whatsoever, the 2 stroke has more power all around. Torque, horsepower, the 2 stroke motor is putting out significantly more than the 4 stroke of equal displacement. This is also proven on the dyno. The 4 stroke puts down less torque and less horsepower making it easier to ride, easier to get traction in some situations, due to LESS power, which I think you're confusing with torque. My buddies all eventually switched to 2 strokes cause they were getting smoked.
@brandonwiant8143 жыл бұрын
@@MxRider721 you're talking to a guy who races a yz250x over a 250f...
@brandonwiant8143 жыл бұрын
@@MxRider721 I am referencing power delivery in a slick section, where a two stroke is more controllable in a slick section, and I went out the next lap on the 250f and slid out. Once you get past the lug of the four stroke the power curve is very linear, but they are light switches in the bottom power curve when you ride them back to back which makes the four stroke uncontrollable in a single-track slick section. They suck
