Facts. I was actually so fucking glad that they didn't make queen bee "plus-size" (gods... as someone who is still medically obese after having lost over 100 pounds, I hate that word, it feels infantilizing and condescending, and only serves to normalize killing yourself slowly.) While I think the pencil waist was unnecessary, I'm happy they depicted gluttony as a whole rather than just the "obsession with eating" aspect which is often mistaken as the whole. They still simplified lust down to just sex instead of encompassing things like ambition (IE "lust for power"), but at least they didn't make Ozzy a rapist.

I think people (wrongfully so) associates rape with lust. The whole narrative of "what were you wearing" or being called a tease is so off base because; rape is not about sex, passion or lust. Rape is about violence and control. To harm and use someone to maintain that power of control. And I think it only makes sense for the embodiment of lust to be all about getting it on, going down on and being freaky with one (or several 😏) consenting participant.

Actually, that first act of Mammon, when Blitz & Fizz were teens, happened more than ten years ago. Remember last episode it was revealed that the accident that burned down the circus happened 15 years ago. So this had to happen before that.

I really like the addition of Fizz hearing Ozzie reaffirm his unconditional love for him but finding it hard to trust that statement. It means a lot to have those who love you support you, but imposter syndrome makes it seem like they're just sparing your feelings :(

Mammon preyed on Fizz at a very vulnerable point of his life, when he didn’t have the support system he has now, which made Fizz feel even more dependent on Mammon and be so obsessed with gaining his approval, even all these years later. And that’s a great point about Blitzø likely feeling guilty about that too, since if it weren’t for the fire, Fizz probably wouldn’t have been put in such a vulnerable position. So I do think they both got a sense of closure by finally getting Fizz out of such an abusive and exploitative environment.

Gotta be honest, normally I hate reaction channels, but you consistently give commentary, creak jokes, and genuinely _react_ in such a viscerally real way to the content that it actually does add something. You've managed to capture all the best qualities a reaction channel can have, and the only downside is just a mild ethical concern related to reaction channels, that rests on the viewer's shoulders just as much as the creator's. This was by far the best episode yet, it really speaks to all people on some level. And it’s just so well done. But the Music is next level. Also the correlation between performers/content creators, and disabled fans was beautiful here. They also tackle the “Toxic Fandom” angles pretty well too, this was mind blowing. I think the reason some people feel...put off by Ozzie talking about consent is due to the fact they see it as "presumably" contradictory to his role as a sin. Many among them probably view Lust as something that involves zero consent

Yeah, Ozzy builds the Robo-Fizz bots. This is something some forget since it came from ep2 from Season 1, so yeah it was revealed a long time ago: Robo-Fizz first appears and starts his show he states he came from Ozzy's Factories.

Fun fact: Mammon is the deadly sin of greed. There’s seven of them of course, with Asmodeus being of lust, and Beelzebub of glutton. There’s 72 demons that are of royal power but different status. 7 of them which are kings (there’s more kings but some kings have more power aka the Seven Deadly Sins), including Lucifer, rules each ring of Hell. Satan and Lucifer are depicted to either be the same or different people. In the Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss universe, they’re separate characters like in the demon classification. So Satan is the sin of wrath and Lucifer of pride. Not just that but Lucifer rules over all of Hell.

I think it's important to remember that the Mammon that Fizzarolli idolizes is a demon that he's never actually met. In the past, Mammon probably was this legendary clown, but right now, it's clear he only cares about what will make money and not the quality of the work. Glitz and Glam are very much in line with Mammon's current thinking, because even though it's clear that the twins are very skilled performers and know how to work the crowd, they clearly aren't only in this to treat it as a popularity contest, whereas Fizzarolli has been doing this clown act since his childhood because he actually loves it.

I said it on another video, but currently through connections, Fizz has on his side two of the strongest hellhounds in hell, and most of the rest, the best assassins in hell, a good portion of the imps and many other species, 2 of the SINS, and Stolas, one of the top royalty of hell. Unless Mammon is already working with Leviathan or there's some rule Ozzy is breaking, Mammon should be absolutely shitting himself.

I don't understand people being mad about Ozzy, I think a bunch of people have already pointed this out but if you have experienced SA and have had the opportunity to process it, I feel like we all understand that assault is about aggression and power, not lust. If both parties are into it THAT'S the ultimate expression of lust. It makes total sense that Ozzy is all about the art of growing and achieving maximum lust instead of just forcing yourself onto somebody else. Meanwhile, greed is a sin that brings out selfish desires. Makes total sense that Mammon is exploitive and Ozzy isn't.

Socialism and communism are more about the people having the power in society. Things like dictatorships and autocracies are products of capitalism. They are built on exploitation, specifically stemming with slave trade, the original exploitation of people for profit. Exactly the thing that Mammon is openly all about. They don't exactly hide that that's the reason for it. His color scheme is green, his face is on the money, his bamf sound when he teleports is literally an old cash register with dollar signs in the air. I'm not singling it out just cuz I hate it, which I do. I'm singling it out because it's the one that directly applies to both the metaphor that they are presenting, and because it directly ties to everything today.
