I have a screenshot of a comment about leave a light on when a man had left his two kids at home and he was getting ready to end it because he was depressed pulled over on a back road and that's when he heard leave a light on he looked it up on KZbin and played it on repeat until he fell asleep went home crying his eyes out hugged his two kids and they were asking him what was wrong and he said nothing to get friend named Jacoby just to helped me out a lot. Incredible!!!

I'm an OG Papa Roach Fan. I was in my mid-20's when you released Infest. I remember when you and LP (and more) hit the world back then. Love the phrase "outkasts for outkasts". 🙋‍♀️ I LOVE LOVE LOVE that you are working with Lø.Spirit❤, I agree he's wildly talented!! It makes me so happy you SEEEE him. I can't wait for the colab! I also agree - putting out what speaks to an artist is GOLD. Which is one of the reasons he's GOLD. His music speaks right to my soul - and that's because he creates from his soul and some of his life experiences are eerily similar to mine, so his music really speaks to me. Nu Metal will always be my favorite genre, and I'm absolutely enamored with this comeback of new Nu Metal and variations of it like artists, like Ekoh, and From Ashes to New in addition to Lø.Spirit and so so many more. It doesn't work to be a copy cat, but taking something an artist already loves and making it theirs - that is fire!! No matter the genre or popular music - creating music from the soul speaks to everyone. I loved hearing the backstory of you and Chester. I'm sorry you lost your friend. I didn't know him but loved him as his voice was a light in my darkness (as was yours too). My best friend took his life 15+ years ago and I sobbed the first time I heard Leave a Light On when you released the album. Amazing song. I got a tattoo because of that song - for my friend and for me. (I used a phrase from the song). I'm sorry for your grandfather too and your own struggles. I too have "danced" with suicidal ideation and so much of what you says resonates with me. That sliver of hope - that can be ALL that saves someone in that moment. Last Resort is still one of the very best songs ever ever created. I am so grateful for your work to bring awareness for suicide prevention. I stand 1000% behind you for breaking the stigma and continuing to bring awareness to this Extremely important issue by talking about it. Even though it can be uncomfortable to talk about, the way we will prevent it is to literally make it ok for us all to "talk away the dark". 🙌 I have the utmost respect and admiration for you Jacoby and I love listening to your stories and insights and experiences. I saw Papa Roach perform 3 years ago. Jacoby and the band put on an amazing performance! Even caught a high five from him on stage. I could tell at that moment this guy genuinely loves what he does. I mean the dude was literally running around the crowd while singing (security was in a panic hahaha). With all that reminiscing out of the way, you can truly see how real he is about himself and his past with also keeping an open mind for the future. Great interview!

This is a bit random, but Jacoby is one of those frontmen on stage, where his movements and body language on stage is so unique to him, that you could show me just a black silhouette of even 100 different singers on stage and I could easily pick out Jacoby.
