regarding the question about whether Greyson has broken the label of 'the kid from the Ellenshow/Paparazzi video'. I personally keep forgetting it ever happened until it's brought up in interviews. We're the same age and I obviously have been aware of his viral moments as these were happening, but I became a massive fan of Greyson from Portraits journey and ever since, I see him as one of my absolute favourite artists, voices, personalities and so on xx

Just came across this. I’m the one who told Greyson to go on the Ellen Show. I was Wirkung for a Roman Polanski vampire movie in Germany when I saw this video of this kid with the golden voice and the power to belt. It was perfect. I immediately write a comment and my iPhone was acting up and posted the comment multiple times. Greyson and I exchanged emails and the next day or day after he was on Ellen ( I’m not sure how it came to pass , I just advised Greyson and his brother to contact Ellen and gave them the contact info I found online ). I continue to enjoy his art today. Palladium is just amazing and beautiful. I hope Greyson sees this. Good job, kid! I hope to catch you live someday. ❤, Sean. In Texas now.

Love him but this new album really isn't it. I couldn't care less about a single song, which is crazy because I loved every part of Portraits, it felt so genuine and has that time capsule feeling to it, this one? Doesn't seem to say anything of value and the sounds are skippable, it's a shame.

TBH I think that’s the point of the album, he made it for himself, I don’t think he’s focused on critiques and numbers. To say you could “care less” sounds as if you don’t appreciate an artists growth/journey, also he could probably “care less” about your criticism. Like he said in the interview he’s beat himself up over comparisons of previous work so congrats for feeding that fire.
