I saw glass animals this past Friday at Dos Equis in Dallas. I had 3rd row seats. It was scorching hot and the band worked their a$$ off to put on a damn good show. The animations and throwbacks were awesome. Dave was drenched but he never stopped putting out a ton of energy. This man works hard! Would love to meet him. The first song I heard from them was Toes. I was like, “Woah, stop everything, what’s this????” Their music actually helped me through some seriously bad stuff I was going through, 15 years of being stuck in a domestic violence marriage. I just put on my headphones and let all the bad in the world roll off of me. Songs like Show Pony mean something different to me than it will for someone else. But here I am today, going strong, thanks to artists like this. Music reminds me that it’s ok to feel things, but we actually get to pick how we process those things. Music is an amazing outlets. And Glass Animals music is so unique. Great stuff. I can’t wait to see what else they put out there.

I can 100% agree with you! I was also at that show and it was one of the best concerts I’ve been to. I may not have been a fan since HTBAHB but I’ve been listening since Dreamland and haven’t stopped since. They are my favorite band and I’d love to meet Dave and talk to him and tell him how amazing of an artist he is!

This interview was soooo good!!! You asked so many questions I personally wanted to ask and I loved learning about all the context behind the songs and songwriting/production process. Love Dave Bayley and Glass Animals, can’t wait to see them on your show again (with Woody next time!)

Helium is one of my favorite songs off Dreamland. It's sad but so beautiful and just really hits, at least for me.

I love Glass Animals! ❤ But I do not like utilizing someone else’s traumatic experience to potentially make yourself more money, get more exposure, or bring yourself more fame. Hold yourself accountable & make amends (Zach). Keep making incredible, inspired music (Glass Animals).

❤❤❤Love Johnny Depp. He may remember you. He’s got pretty good memory. But how could you keep forgetting about it. No one forgets him if they ever meet him. Even his gf from 1985, Sherlyn fenn, which is almost 40 years ago still loves him so much and posts lovingly about him on instagram like a fan😭
