Celebrity Ascent is the brand new cruise ship from Celebrity Cruises. Celebrity Ascent is the fourth ship in the Edge series of ships, some of the most modern and beautiful ships at sea. Celebrity Ascent will be nearly identical to her older sister Celebrity Beyond and will feature popular venues like Eden, Magic Carpet, the Martini Bar, Rooftop Garden, Sunset Bar, and so much more.
The Maiden Voyage of Celebrity Ascent will sail to the Eastern Caribbean on a 7-day cruise. Celebrity Cruises will name Celebrity Ascent their flagship cruise ship at its naming ceremony in early December.

I'd stay on the ship in Cozumel. It seems there is always a megaship unloading way too many people. We just returned from the maiden voyage; it was excellent. Celebrity really topped itself in food and service and Zenith is back in the Retreat, so we were quite happy.

Great video. I was on the “maiden voyage” and it did not disappoint. We loved dining in Eden and at the rooftop garden and we were in Blu which was so lovely. We also got to experience the Annex and that was really fun! Our group did a combination of karaoke and golf. Just a really great time. And the shows were amazing. I have certainly enjoyed all your coverage of the new Celebrity Ascent. Thank you for all the work you put in.❤

Yes. On Beyond this summer, Italy to Croatia to Greece and back, one Sea Day Buffet was amazing mountains of crab legs! Mountains, and on ice! And, mountains of all types of shrimp. Shrimp cocktail and sautéed. In the Buffet. It was fantastic! September 8, 2023 sailing. GREAT ship and phenomenal time. Can’t wait for our 13 day Best of Scandinavia on Apex this June 2024. Thank you for great videos. Really enjoy them. How do you like Silhouette? Just curious how Celebrity non-Edge class ships are.

I have been to Cozumel tooo many times but i love it. Just get off the ship early, rent a car for the day and drive to the other side of cozumel. Best time every time its so peaceful and quiet. I wonder why most people don’t do this. I was just there last week on the norwegian prima! Definitely nooo crowds there

Zach, I don't care for crowds or lines. Have you sailed on the Summit or Mellenium after they were revolutionized? I have sailed several Solstice class ships and the Edge. Will be on the Ascent soon, but also interested is a smaller ship experiencesafter recent HAL Noordam sailing.

Bunch of great videos on the ascent. My wife and I were just wondering what does it take to be eligible for the captains club breakfast. We are members of the captains club, but don’t know what eligibility requirements there are.

I believe the Captains Club breakfast is exclusive to the loyalty levels of Elite or above. I am still at Select level and need 2 more Celebrity sailings (B2B on Ascent next month) and will get to the 300 points to be Elite.
