What a great vlog you did. Thank you. It brought back many happy memories of the 1970s Living in London I'm travelling to Mykonos two or three times during the summer for weekends or a week or two week days. Of course the island has changed a lot since then. But from your vog it still has all the charm the character and the beauty it had then. It was also a bit of a crazy party island, amazing places.

Glad you enjoyed your time in Mykonos, although it is very picturesque, it is one of the most expensive Greek islands as can be seen from the designer shops.

Thanks, Yvette! I think the Apex or Edge would both be a great choice. I’m going on the Edge next year and cannot wait. Really loved the Apex! Going to be going there in about a month on NCL Getaway. You mentioned that Group 2 was in a bubble; were other groups not in a bubble? Can I correctly assume you didn't have a choice of what restaurant you had lunch in? And since you weren't able to shop, were there other ways to support the local economy? Thanks for the great vid!

Thank you for watching! There were around 7-8 groups I believe and they were all in a bubble. Celebrity was not allowing anyone to tour Mykonos on their own - only in these bubble tours. The restaurant was part of the tour, so no choice. But it was delicious!

@@ZachtheTravelingMan Thanks for the info! From what I can gather NCL is allowing guests to roam about on their own in Greece...for now. I'd feel a bit bad if I couldn't do some shopping or such to help out the economy in my small way. Can hardly wait regardless! Looking forward to your next vids.

Mykonos was the only island on our itinerary where we couldn’t explore on our own. Glad to hear you’ll be able to be on your own and support the local economy!

I missed why you weren’t able to shop. Why did it seem so empty? Was it just a specific section of Mykonos to keep away from non cruise tourists? Sorry for all the questions.

Since we were on a “bubble tour” they didn’t want us leaving our group and wandering into shops and places off of the tour. Just to ensure no one picked up anything along the way. I think this has all changed now - I haven’t been on any tours this restrictive since.
