Celebrity Apex Infinite Verandah Stateroom | Concierge Class | Full Walkthrough Review

I am onboard Celebrity Apex in an Infinite Verandah Stateroom. I upgraded to the Concierge Class, and in this video I give you a full walkthrough review of the room and experience.
The infinite verandah stateroom is a great way to enjoy the best of a luxury room and the fantastic views of the ocean. The verandah brings you right to the water's edge, allowing you to convert your floor to ceiling window into a balcony where you can watch the scenery pass right before you. It is the best stateroom I have had on any cruise line.
The Celebrity Apex is Celebrity Cruise Line's brand new luxury ship, sailing its inaugural season in Europe through the fall of 2021. I embarked on the cruise from Athens, Greece, and will be visiting Mykonos, Rhodes, Dubrovnik, and Santorini on the 7-day voyage. This is my fifth solo cruise.

good review. I travel solo too so this is cost prohibitive for me. But I really like the verandah set up and hope to try it someday. For my cruise the concierge class would be 3200 vs the 1150 I'm paying for an inside. This ship does have some solo verandah cabins.

Yes! It actually gets quite chilly at night - you can adjust the thermostat all the way down to 66°!

Great tour! I know some people don't like the infinite verandah idea, but when I sailed on the Edge I absolutely LOVED it! I love how it adds more room in the inside while still allowing me to feel like I'm on a balcony lol :)

Exactly! I heard many mixed reviews before as well. But I love the concept. It’s so cool to just have it as a huge window most of the time. And in the evening I can open it and let the fresh air in!

what i like about the edge class ships is that they offer the single veranda rooms with the adjusted solo supplement. As a solo traveler I am tired paying double occupancy.

I’ve been sailing Celebrity for years and really enjoyed concierge class. The sail away luncheon is not to be missed and the afternoon canapés are a nice touch. We have moved up to Aqua and suite class since they come with their own dining room and separate kitchen. The Summit is one of the older,smaller ships but the excellent service is standard on all ships. We are doing a transatlantic crossing on Apex next spring in Aqua class (suite class as sold out in a matter of days).

Didn’t you use your phone to open the room door and control your room lights? Drinks and More package and then the mini bar is included, re-stocked daily and $50 casino credit.

I did use my phone to control the lights. Only used it once or twice for the door, but found the key card more convenient.

So sadly I will be canceling my upcoming Mardi Gras cruise due to current covid situation. However I am seriously considering re booking with the Celebrity Apex for an Eastern Caribbean itinerary later in the spring . Considering all the perks they are including and the spaciousness/sophistication of the rooms I think it might come out to be similar in costs. How is the atmosphere of the cruise? Stuffy or still fun? Also do they have any comfort food options like burgers, Mexican food or BBQ?

Having sailed both the MG and Apex in 2021, I highly recommend you do the Apex. It’s definitely more of a laid back, more luxurious experience. No hairy chest contest at the pool, if you’re into that. But they still have fun - themed parties each night in Eden, amazing shows, games around the pool, etc. You won’t be bored or feel stuffy, I promise! They have different food each day on the cruise in the buffet. They also had hamburgers by the pool and a midnight snack buffet. The food was the best I’ve ever had on a cruise. Definitely book Apex. :)

Hi, We're considering a trip on the Apex soon (Greek Isles and Croatia). Were people required to wear masks? I've gotten conflicting information from Celebrity. Did you feel safe/comfortable on the ship? Thanks!

That’s the cruise I’m on and it’s amazing! You totally should book it and come. Masks are required but they haven’t been strictly enforcing it everywhere around the ship. I feel totally safe and comfortable with all the protocols in place.

I got the fastest internet they offer and it’s pretty awesome! Might be the fastest I’ve ever had on a cruise. Can’t tell you’re on a ship most of the time.
