I left country music almost 20 years ago after listening to it religiously from the time I was born, into my early twenty's (you do the math). IMO, it changed when it went too pop sounding, but you flow with the times I guess. I went metal for awhile, then just stuck with good ol' classic rock... the 70's to 80's version. So needless to say, my country hillbilly friends have tried to bring me back for awhile now, and have not succeeded... UNTIL NOW! I can't get enough of this dude. No bullshit, this man floods my brain with the likes of Doug Stone, Tracy Lawrence, Joe Diffie, Keith Whitley, and to be honest, a little Eddie Rabbitt in his song writing, I wish this man great success, and I hope he leads the charge of Making Country Great Again, at least IMO.

Just saw this guy in Tucker, GA at a brewery. It was refreshing to hear ACTUAL country music again instead of imitation country that's just pop music. Steel guitar, fiddle. Man I love it. Zach stayed the WHOLE TIME after the show until every last fan got a handshake and a picture with him, and thanked us for coming. This guy is a class act. He even played in the pouring rain with an acoustic when the electronics went out. This guy is the real deal.
