Sorry about my camera, even the camera is feeling the impact of listening to me talk about Luton in a bad way.

First point with Kaminski, I think McGuiness was kind of hoping that he was at the edge of the box when he made THAT back pass but thankfully recovered. Agree about set pieces, we need to mix them up - between Alfie, Nelson and even the corner from Walsh, managed to find it's way into the danger area - wasn't so hot on his free kick! Sick of Edwards playing the lads out of position. While Chong was dreadful last night - again, playing on the right isn't his thing and I am just stunned he continues to get picked and get a full 90 minutes. He needs to be an impact sub running through the middle and looking to play a good ball(and this part of his game needs huge work). Almost every time he got the ball, he lost it. Yes he gets the odd foul, but refs aren't falling for that so much now, gave away a dangerous free kick and while he did win a couple of corners, he is the one player we are yet to change to see if we are better going forward. Staggered that he waited 10 minutes to bring on Eli after going 2-1 down then taking the p*ss with his 84th minute Hail Mary. I think between Edwards and the coaching twits, they just don't know what they are doing - it's clear for all to see. QPR have managed to really pick things up, so all 3 of them need to get on the phone and ask how they did it. I have a feeling though that while we are still not actually in the relegation zone, the board will hang on to Edwards until it's too late, like they almost did with Graeme Jones. Losing our top player scout, 2 coaches has really hurt us in recruitment and the teams ability to string 3 passes together. I was really hoping Rob could turn it around - 10 games ago, like QPR have; but I see no signs of improvements anywhere across the field. It looked like 11 individuals who have finished work going for a kick about, against the top local Sunday league side. The Oxford game is massive. Lose that and we will be in deep trouble.

I thought Liam Walsh looked really composed in midfield and made some lovely incisive passes.

Same. Need to see it more though

Agreed. We had been lacking quality passes through the centre since the departure of Barkely. We now need to learn what to do with them on the edge of the box.

Totally agree he was controlling the midfield. Before the back 3 would lump it forward then Morris losses it then the opposing team have the ball. Walsh managed something that was missing for months ...... we strung more than 3 passes together.. lol simple but it works. When is Mr Crock (Baptiste) coming back?

Thanks Lewis for the 5 things .. I'm going to be boring and stick to what I said at the very start of the season. Morris and Adebayo is a stale formula. Losing Tom derailed him and it totally derailed us and we have not recovered. Ross Barkley was a joy to have for one season and it's impossible to replace him. Nakamba has not been the same.. So many injuries... The board gave RE a long contract .. We haven't invested properly in the team.. We have a lovely new stadium to look forward to and it's been so overdue that we are almost accepting whatever because the long term future of the club is secure.. The Board maybe do feel bad for not giving RE the right backing during the summer.. We are staring down the barrel of dropping in to League One.. Losing 10 away games in a row is not acceptable and no amount of excuses can ever make it palatable. Sorry for interrupting your attempt to find some positives..

I disagree about Kaminski, good player, he does communicate and his distribution is okay. There is a story he is off to Leeds

Going to stick with the positives 👍 as there are enough other people being negative.We played a back 4. 😯 The stats were fairly even , so maybe a draw would of been a more fair result ? Zack was the stand out player ( as you say ) Fanne even though he was playing out of position really impressed me and surely he is only going to get better .( lets hope he can avoid the injury crisis curse !) McGuinness goal was fantastic. (shame he missed the other chance ) Even though I have been really critical about Walsh I think he had a good game. I agree Kaminski does have his faults , but lets be honest here if it wasn't for him we probably would be sitting at the bottom of the table , having conceded a lot more than 44 goals.

Agree with most of that. As for Fanne, imagine the damage he could have done if he was in the right position? For me, that has been our problem all season. IF players were in their correct places, Edwards and the coaching twits were a bit more creative in their 'thinking', and keeping Krauss on rather than Chong, we could have created much much more going forward with Morris feeding off through balls. Walsh has a LOT of credit to make up.

@@welcome2mytruth Would love to see Fanne and Krauss together.Walsh hopefully has learned a good lesson and can go on to be a valued player.Quite a lot of Robs decisions have been really baffling but its not all been his fault as the coaching staff ( or twits as you say 🤣) have to shoulder some of the blame , as do some of the players .

And kick the ball to his own team for a change. His distribution is very poor and 8/10 deadball kicks go straight to the opposition. But I guess you can't have it all!
@peterscott23415 күн бұрын
Agree in all you say Lewis. Zack Nelson did well against QPR and agree on what you say about Kaminski. Kaminski does not seem to be a team player nor control his area. We have seen several occasions where he has caused chaose in his area. Walsh played OK against QPR too with Chong being poor too. All I all everyone was off their game last night and it starts with the players and his poor quality assistants.

Looks like Rob is leaving 🤔
@welcome2mytruth15 күн бұрын
Yeah I am seeing that from TalkSport. I fear it's too late as some decent Managers have gone elsewhere. I feel sorry for Rob but it's taken 26 games to finally realise that 3 centre backs doesnt work and that is on him. Let's hope he takes the coaching twits with him.
