Tldr: Butter is better for you as long as you work out (in the US at least, you should probably do research for your own country) Ok so after doing a bit of research, I've come to the conclusion the margarine is better for you then butter if you don't exercise. This is because it contains a lot of unsaturated fats and a minuscule amount of trans fats thanks to the ban of the oil that was causing the large amount of trans fats margarine was known for in 2018 (US only, results may vary). If you do exercise however, eating natural foods is usually better for your health as you can usually burn of all bad stuff (ie: trans fats) while still enjoying the healthier and more natural benefits from your foods.

@Twakalo2 жыл бұрын
Sorry but this isn’t really correct at all. Traditionally, margarine is made by taking healthy, unsaturated fat filled oils, and hydrogenating them, which produces trans fats and saturates the molecules of fat with hydrogen. Hydrogenated oils are terrible for you, and they were very common in butter substitutes until recently. Butter on the other hand is also bad for you, but that’s because it contains mainly saturated fats, which although unhealthy, are not directly carcinogenic like trans fats. Many margarines today however, do not have trans fat anymore, but use thicker oils and filler ingredients to get that butter consistency. Whether you work out or not doesn’t really matter, trans fats are always the worst, and saturated fats are always less healthy than unsaturated, unless you are very food deprived, then you would benefit from the denser saturated fats which have more calories. Overall, stick to healthy oils like canola, olive, avocado, almond, avoid anything that has the word hydrogenated in the ingredients list, and use butter as sparingly as you can.

I’m gonna try to explain all the rap questions 1. The massive amount of people from who’s names start with Lil is mainly due to how influential Lil Wayne is so tons of people named themselves something similar. 2. There are tons of rappers who don’t talk about how much money they have. The biggest in the mainstream is probably Earl Sweatshirt 3. Kanye has tons of ghost writers, if you check the song credits there are tons of names there, also Drake has been rumoured to have a few and it’s unlikely that he doesn’t.

Every time I check the comments section for this podcast I see people developing on Jordan's question of the week, but because of the nature of this episode's question I don't think anyone was interested enough to do it this time. So I'll just throw my thoughts on the matter here, even if I'm late enough that only Peter will see it. For starters, I feel like the question of "Should we get rid of TV's?" is pretty badly executed as it doesn't really focus on the main point that Jordan was trying to make. *Getting rid of physical TV's?* Not gonna happen as they are a very comfortable way of consuming media like streaming services or videogames, plus the fact that the TV itself can be linked to PCs and mobile devices so you can use it as a big monitor. *Getting rid of TV programming?* I mean, yeah, it's already a dying medium so it will happen eventually, plus most of it is garbage nowadays so the sooner it dies the better. Now, if we're talking about *Getting rid of internet entertainment* it's a different story, but I think what it boils down to is the idea of "Productivity", or rather "What if people spent their time doing productive stuff instead of 'wasting' their time on recreational activities?". I think re-wording it like that helps to understand the actual discussion here. On the hypothetical of the NASA thing, Jordan assumes that the more people there is working on stuff the more advances and progress we can make, which is just...not true. If we had 300% more people working on space ships than we have now it wouldn't necessarily mean we'd be 300% closer to getting to mars. It could maybe be beneficial in some areas, but quantity of people would definitely not make the progress faster (in fact, some could argue more people would make progress SLOWER). Same goes for researching cancer, quantum physics and any other stuff that relates to science. I think the main point Jordan was trying to make is less about scientific jobs and more about 'productive jobs' (intellectual jobs to be specific), jobs that have more intrinsic value than the rest. Personally I don't agree with this line of thinking. People by nature look for recreational activities, and nowadays the internet gives us plenty of it: Movies, Shows, Video games, Streaming, YT videos, etc., it's something we enjoy and is something that most of the population nowadays consume, and of course, is something that a lot of people work on. However, if you got rid of all of that we would simply just search for another thing that stimulates that part of our brains, like, you know, the things that we had before internet became a thing. Again, it's in our nature, you can't just trick your brain into being a productivity machine 24/7. And as long as people have the desire to be entertained there will be people who will be willing to respond to said desire. It's pretty much a basic case of supply and demand, and therefore being an entertainer is as valid as any other career (or at least that's how I see it). So, would 'getting rid of TVs' make that much of a difference? I mean, yes because the world would have a completely different structure as what it has today, but it would definitely not result in more people becoming NASA engineers. It would just mean that, in a realistic scenario, the population would segregate into ALL types of jobs that would be available (more engineers and astronauts, but also more carpenters, electricians, businesses...) , and there would probably be a demand for other types of jobs regarding entertainment as well (maybe there would be more and better ciruses). Overall, this week's question wasn't as great as others. I put it in D tier on my Jordan's Questions of the Week Tier List, maybe low C.
