18:51 it's funny how poser exposes himself. No, Batman ONLY trained with Ra's Al Ghul (before films, surely there are/will be versions where he also did in Some comics too, just like Jonathan Kent dying from heart attack And before Martha was eventually adapted into comics ie All-Star Superman (not only alternative version but in most cases anti-canon, especially towards Silver Age) and Geoff Johns' run and JMS Earth-One Superman ) *ONLY* in Christopher Nolan's version of the Batman which Anyone could only *WATCH* , there is no "depending" . Same Chris Nolan films where Batman also killed. Not to mention that Zack Snyder is THE only one who actually adapted death of Waynes accurately to comics with Thomas trying to knock out the mugger instead of trying to negotiate (which is Why Bruce becomes crime Fighting Batman not crime negotiator). And saying that "he is a martial artist" is 1)means that You don't understand Batman (Bruce is self trained boxer And detective And a scientist) 2)doesn't say much as martial artists kill people too, "even" each other Always funny to watch people that know absolutely nothing about the subject accusing Zack of (filming) the actual thorough research of the source material (done by Goyer and Terrio).

Batman clearly kills in the comics, and Batman has clearly killed in the other film adaptations, so I guess your fantasy Batman doesn't kill, but don't put those expectations on everyone else

Is not that he wants Batman to kill, but that he wants the character to be challenged yet still stay with its essence to stay fresh and relevant to time. Snyder haters are not the brightest

What? The hate on snyder is warranted when he completely botches the two most iconic super hero characters of all time. Hey lets have superman destroy metropolis and snap the villains neck in his first on screen appearance in decades. Great narrative choice from ole zack....and then batman.....its literally in the ethos for batman to not kill, and what does zack do right out of the gate? Have batman completely go against is entire character and moral standpoint and just start shooting and killing bad guys....come on lmao. Oh and there's a reason 'The Batman" (2022) was so widely revered as the best adaptation of the character since TDK (the best representation of batman too btw and he doesnt kill. Whoa what a shocker) Snyder fan boys (you so very clearly) are not the brightest

@@burnttoast6397 you are clearly not a fan of these characters if you type such nonsense (Action Comics 805 for neck snap example, Richard Donner's Last Son for super battle examples, Batman Infected and In the Dark Places for Batkills examples or example of him using gun in a tight situation, and that's just Modern comics, there is also Action Comics #23, Superman #1 , Batman #1-6, World's Finest #27 (Batman and Robin part) to see how characters were done by Their ACTUAL creators), like I really don't get it. In The Batman 2022 Batman is responsible for at least two casualities involved *innocent people* . And "widely revered" is non-argument in the world where MCU never gets critcized for Avengers killing or for Ego being Peter Quill's dad. Either you "really" care about adaptations adapting source material correctly and with care, or you are with people (same people who made it possible for Zack Snyder's Justice Legue not only to become "real" but even win popular vote over Avengers and 3 Spider-Man versions).

At very least in the comics by people that actually created Batman, same with Superman. Anyone can like any alternative version of these characters, just don't pretend they are original ones when they are Far from it, not only that but "even" if you go (okay but Batman in original comics couldn't glide with his cape (in fact The Batman is closer to the Batman #31 which was written by Finger), he didn't have automatic grappling gun pistol (came with Burton film), batcave and Alfred) oh yeah, all these things that came with live action adaptations where Batman also killed, especially Tim Burton films (in which Batman kills *Because* writers of these films saw original first comics in preparation, unlike what people like Kevin Smith want to pretend).

@@FirstnameLastname-my7bz Exactly there's been many different iterations of the character over the decades and people will have a certain preference on which version they like best. But pretending a particular version you like the best is the one or only version is just silly gatekeeping.

@@chriswarden420 it's double silly when it is not even original version. It is same thing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, they have their weapons (especially Leo and Raph) Because they actually kill their foes (sometimes) instead of only disarming them and kicking them with their feet unless they are robots. But because 1987 cartoon completely remade them into more fun loving goofballs that mostly fight robots and even 2003 cartoon never let them kill any human . But the weapons are still there, from the original version which would definitely give all 4 of them something else if ninja turtles were Planned to be non-lethal from the beginning, instead of comic semi-parody about mutants murdering ninja Shredder to avenge death of their master's master. It is like preferring Benedict Camberbetch Sherlock and demanding that every other version was set in modern times .
