I've given him the benefit of the doubt the ENTIRE time, once I found out how they BUTCHERED his footage in Suicide Squad, and never gave his character a time to be more fleshed out. Not to mention, Zack's vision of him is what was supposed to be in Suicide Squad! 🥴🙄 So David Ayer & Joss Whedon BOTH screwed that man over! An Academy Award winning actor. I was livid. And I've defended him ever since. I knew he had *THIS* in him, is why.

Anyone that has seen Dallas Buyers Club would have known all along that Jared was the right man for the job. Just so happens his first Joker was poor. Poor writing, poor character design, poor acting choices made by Jared. Whether he had a good Joker in him was never in doubt though. Even if this Joker I'd underwhelming, it doesn't take away from his actual acting chops. This Joker looks great though.

Love this Joker. Completely different voice and accent, he sounds intelligent. Everything is different, so you know that means he has a different laugh as well. Looking forward to his full portrayal. They really need a series with this Joker and Batman. Like the animated one, but live action. Funnily enough this version of Joker looks like he'd suit the new Batman film coming out. They should consider him, we can move forward and leave Suicide Squad in the past, no harm done.
