I feel like not enough people appreciate the darker tone Snyder brought. The themes of "gods among us" is a really fascinating to me and he takes it seriously. It's been the theme since Man of Steel, was more present in BvS and WW and was supposed to culminate in JL. Some people fear and despair, some people are given hope. It's beautiful and visceral and I CAN NOT WAIT to see Snyder finish what he started.

Finally someone who gets that Zack's more Dark and Gritty style fits the DCEU so well. I'm not saying his ideas are perfect but i think that his vision for his 5 movies within the DCEU would have been amazing to see. As for the casting choices I'd say it was near perfect but I'm not sold on Ezra as The Flash and Jesse as Lex. I don't mind Jesse's more crazy version of Lex but i feel that Lex should be someone who can be intimidating in his own right and Jesse never got there for me. A good example would be Michael Rosembaum's Lex which was absolute perfection. All things considered I'm glad Zack finally got to finish his story. To me it doesn't matter if its good or bad anymore I'm still going to enjoy myself.

Good comments! I also agree to not being sold on Ezra after loving Grant Gustin's portrayal. Rosenbaum is my second favorite 'live' Lex, behind Clancy Brown (animated) that I grew up watching. Imo, Lex must be charismatic and ruthless.

That shot of Superman firing gave me the most chills in the trailer. Cavill's expression, how the cape flows behind him, the lighting, everything is perfect.... Snyder gets flak for being overly visuals-oriented in his films but the inner artist in me approves. I just love movies that are visually inspiring, they help me recover from artist blocks...... It's just sad that even if the Snydercut turns out to be good some people would just declare otherwise as most comment sections for this trailer have shown......

I really liked Eisenberg's Lex too! It's different but that's a part of the appeal for me. Also, the reason Snyder chose Hallelujah for the first trailer was because it was his daughter's (RIP) favourite song. I hope it ends up in the film somewhere. I'm very excited for this one and happy everyone gets a second chance!

Thing is we didn’t get to see Jared’s real performance as the Joker in Suicide Squad because WB cut most of if not all of his scenes so if you want to see the real performance in the movie plus more things then make ZSJL successful and we’ll get the Ayer Cut of said movie ( Suicide Squad ). Mikalya I like your optimism, but WB/DC created an unnecessary divide with their fans. JL-2017 was underwhelming, but it was made for those who aren't comic book nerds. This trailer was good, but imo his amazing Hallelujah trailer should have been the final. I am very excited to KNOW these heroes. Was very disappointed by 2017 Justice League and cringed during certain scenes while watching at the theater. Shameful/disrespectful treatment of Superman just so the big executives could rush JL's release date to get their bonus check$. Suicide Squad was cut down/edited BIG TIME which reduced Jared Leto's screen time as The Joker. Just like BvS: Ultimate Edition was better than the theatrical, the Ayer cut of Suicide Squad is > theatrical & extended. #ReleaseTheAyerCut especially if the footage is already filmed and just has to be edited a bit.

I enjoyed the little kids interview with Superman at the beginning of the 2017 version, along with the intro it was so Zack Snyder style (beautiful) and Wonder Woman's whole scene in London (epic) everything else was forgettable/terrible for me. My hopes in this one is that they don't down play Batman's importance to the Justice League. The Joss version did him so wrong, no respect was shown to his character he was the old normal guy with lots of money (disgraceful) "Batman don't shiv!" - The Dark Knight (part 1)

@Movies with Mikayla I’m a huge fan of the DC Universe as well, I’ll admit the current DCEU has been kind of hit or miss for me, I loved Man of Steel, Wonder Woman as well as Aquaman and Birds of Prey. At the same time I wasn’t big on Batman V. Superman, Wonder Woman 1984 which was great until Cheetah came on screen and pulled me out of the movie or Justice League 2017 which was just a total joke. I’m super pumped for the Snyder Cut though and it immediately looks far better than the 2017 disaster.

I think Zack could've done better than this... I mean recreating the whole movie with some new shots or some additional character changes ain't gonna be that good... If he would've crafted a new story or gone for a solo superhero movie with helping roles of the others, it would've been better to watch that than watching the same plot again.
