I remember watching the Director’s Cut way back in the summer of 2010 for the first time, (before I read the graphic novel), and not only did I understand it, I fell in love with it. I don’t understand how this is a difficult film to understand: it’s not only a deconstruction of Superhero films, but a brilliant adaptation of the source material which was considered “unfilmable”, (it being a deconstruction of Superhero comics in turn). I just don’t understand how anybody would be confused by this…

He decided to leave Earth and head out to another galaxy for good after he realized sticking around after Veidt’s plan framed him for the destruction of all major cities around the globe wasn’t a good idea. Although it ended the Cold War and brought about Global Peace (for however long that would last), he figured it would be best not to remain on Earth which had become “far too complicated”, etc.

Because it’s not considered “gentlemanly” and Men are physically stronger than Women. Also, the intent of a Man doing so could imply he’s attempting Sexual Assault, as Men throughout history (literally since the dawn of our Species), has been the aggressors in acts of rape, etc. It’s simply not a good idea or considered morally correct for a Man to do so. With Women, it’s a whole other standard that’s upheld societally around the World (in most countries).

my fav. comic book movie but the IDEA IS FLAWED. what about CHINA, SAUDI-ARABIA, GERMANY, FRANCE, UK, INDIA IRAN, CUBA, ISRAEL, ITALY, ETC. it makes very little sense, plus it's a lie, so the chance of it coming into the light is very high
