Keep coming back to this everytime my casting with longer lines goes for sh... I'm always amazed how he does it effortless with clean compact motion. Do you remember the tackle he's using here? Cheers!

Pretty sure it’s a Gaelforce longer rod and a longer shooting head like a Gaelforce Equalizer 63 very nice casting

Thanks buddy. Zack is the most no nonsense Spey caster and instructor I know. He gives sm dtraight answers and if he doesn't know the answer he will say so. Every time I'm around him I ask lots of questions cause I know he has no agenda but the truth. Thanks Glenn and I love what I'm doing with this, can't wait to get out on the water with you brother!

At 3:20 I stop the clip and rod blank part section from the bottom hand to the top hand is incredible the amount of load it carries to the point that it looks it’s not going to get back straight again, awesome stuff just by watching it 👀 Thank you again for the time and sharing Tim. Just tell us please if it’s the same rig on the 3 clips ? You need to start a funding for a Drone to get a full cast view perspective of these guys! Best Mag

I notice that Zack’s top hand is lower on the top and obviously this works really well. I have been badgered by coaches to put my hand higher hmmm what is the right way?
@LineSpeedJediTimRawlins
@LineSpeedJediTimRawlins 2 жыл бұрын
He holds them further apart for competition casting. That was not a bigger line or rod in particular. See what the comp casters do for long rods. For Short heads closer together produces high line speeds.

It is better to pull with the lower hand than to push with the upper hand, you get less fatigue when you casting and generate more energy. I have never seen a person almost put a TOP fly rod into the water when front cast. Where do they teach, in the USA?
@LineSpeedJediTimRawlins
@LineSpeedJediTimRawlins 2 жыл бұрын
Do both! Season to taste and pull with top hand before you push with it! Thanks
