What a wonderful cover! I thought the song was too short then realized that it's the same length like when Louis Armstrong did it. I guess when we hear Angelina sing, we just want it to last as long as possible. I guess we're just spoiled! Once again Angelina and Toby do a great job on this!

I love it when Angelina keeps a song tender, with her slight ornamentation and power shift, but now overpowering the song itself. I wish someone would do a mashup of her version with Louis Armstrong's. I bet that would be amazing. Fun famnily fact about Satchmo: my dad met him in a jazz club in Philadelphia, and I grew up hearing Dad's 78 recordings of him. Another great reaction, Zack!

The way Angelina sings this song makes me believe It is a wonderful world.But It really isn't.Still,she has a unique way of giving us an emotional feeling and forgetting about personal and extremely serious world problems.Her own life has experienced some bad times and you hear It in her voice,eventhough as a Young child she already had this old soul.I like her very much and hope she gets the attention she deserves on an international base.❤

There is something about listening to Angelina sing without watching her sing. We hear and digest every word and completely enjoy and totally appreciate every sound of her unique and beautiful voice. Don't get me wrong, watching her is a treat and we get great vibes watching her perform and our reaction is widespread but when the emphasis is just on listening to her it's another way of her thrilling us in a very subtle way.

She was 8 years old when she elevated this song to "Beautiful", on the world stage at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert in 2014, where she dedicated the song to that year's winners of the Nobel Peace Prize, Kailash Satyarthi and Malala Yousafzai (you should absolutely check it out - kzbin.info/www/bejne/f4fcm3ind612l6c ). In this new version, with her even more masterful control of her vast vocal arsenal, and the exquisite beauty and richness of her "grown up" voice, she elevates it to "Magical". When she was 8, she sang this at the Nobel Peace Prize. She killed it. It never fails to bring tears. A few months ago, I was driving along and Louis Armstrong came on the radio singing it. The tears came. Not because of Louis but because of thinking about that 8 yo AJ singing it. Good thing no one was there to see the tears.

Angelina performed this song live several times as a young girl including at a Nobel Peace Prize concert event at age 8 but never released a studio version. To me, the music and her voice have equal volume. Some singers need the music to be more supportive to their voice or skill. She does not. I think her voice needs to be 75% of the sound and the music 25%, or something similar. Her voice and skills should always be the primary focus with the music just being in the background. This has been a common issue with recording techs when mixing for her. Otherwise, always love her vocals.
