Perfecter and perfecter! (I know that's not a word, but since we're running out of legitimate words to describe her, might as well try to make up a few). And hey, she combed her hair!!😊❤

Please you MUST react to her « Fly Me To The Moon » for Quincy Jones.

As you watch more of Angelina, you’ll see that frequently there is little applause during her live performances because the audience is stunned-and as it is for many of us, they don’t want to miss a note. Her second performance on AGT is her beautiful cover of Goodbye, Yellow Brick Road. The huge audience and the judges are mesmerized. You could hear a pin drop. On so many of her performances, she’s got you at the first couple notes, and you’re hooked for the full ride.

KZbin didn't notify me of this, so I'm a day late, but Steve Harvey's reaction goes for me, too. This is one of Angelina's smoothest, most perfect renditions of this song, second only to the O2 performance at Quincy Jones' 85th birthday concert.

What an interesting series as I have never seen any reactor do this. Her progression is hard to fathom at such a young age, but wait?! At age 10, there is a huge advancement in her skills and confidence and that will continue forward from here. Angelina's magic years are considered those from ages 8 to 13. Not to say that it is not great after that, but those are the years when many of us fell in love with her.

Aron, love the journey. By now you realize it is futile to critique this child here. 8-9 years old or whatever...could be 20-30 years old for that matter...we are in the presence of a prodigal human being that is very hard to understand how this can be...love that you are taking this much time to actually try to understand this girl....I just enjoy that she is in my life. Kudos to you Aron for your absolute commitment to this very difficult task you have chosen, trying to understand a music genius. If you were still in school I do believe you could do your Doctoral Thesis on Angelina for your PHD....MHO. 🥰🥰

Haha that would be kinda fun actually and she would be worthy of such an epic study

Other than her incredible vocal talent, what truly sets Jordan apart from other artists is her phrasing. It particularly shows up in her covers, I believe, which is what helps to make them her own.

"Fill my heart with song, and let me sing forever more" should be Angelina's mantra.

I think it already is, and that's one of the reasons she comes back to this song over and over

Angelina sang Fly Me To The Moon at the latest Vegas concert too I believe.❤❤❤❤👣

No. She sang "Moon River". She definitely has a soft spot for the moon.

Yes. Even in Bad Vallentine. She will spend the night with the moon.

It's not called her signature song for nothing - you can wake her up in the middle of the night and she'll sing it as flawlessly as she does on stage, without having to remember the lyrics. . This was a really interesting, in-depth mini-series, the likes of which I've never seen before. 👍 Angelina has sung "Fly me to the moon" countless times, it is said that more than sixty of these performances have been recorded (dimlylit's list contains 39 of them). Unfortunately, Angelina's very first live TV performance is not in this list - it's Fly me to the Moon, of course. It would round out your mini-series a lot if you could also watch that. March 07th, 2014 Angelina's Gloomy Sunday audition was aired and went viral in a way TV2 felt the need to invite her to their "Late Night talkshow with Thomas and Harald" (Senkveld in Norwegian) two weeks later. So she was not that long 8yo as she did this appearance on national TV on prime time, including interview and the very first public Fly me to the Moon performance kzbin.info/www/bejne/aYHLXqalpJydotU

I think Steve Harvey summed it all up with that look. If you're going to move on to age 9 to 10, this is where a seat belt would be useful, I would be surprised if you do not fall off your seat somewhere very soon. And don't be worried if you do, many of us have, it's quite normal lol. ❤🌹❤🌹❤🌹🔥🎶👣😇🇨🇦

The thing I like most with this performance is her little almost trills, or should I call them bends, in to some of the notes, where she starts the notes on a distinct upp bend (like a third up I think it is) and almost immediately falls down to the "proper" note. F.ex. on the word _'hand'_ in _"hold my hand"._ It's so subtle and quick and it sound so natural as if it couldn't be sung in any other way - this is "how it shall be done" - period!

I heard this life in Norway two years ago in a Bossa nova style, she delivered amazing happiness 😊💕 At the age of twelve she got the attention of Quincy Jones and he invited her as a great surprise for his birthday show 🎉

It takes a seasoned jazz pro such as yourself to truly appreciate what we are witnessing! Mesmerising sums it up pretty well I think ))

I agree that Aaron is a Jazz expert. That why I would choose him as an expert in my court of What I See and Hear Myself. Now, the world has to catch up with us.

Thanks so much. Honestly though, I'm fairly elementary compared to some of my friends and former roommate (literally one of the top in the world). I know some stuff. Regardless, I'm happy to share what I can and that you are enjoying it and can learn something. I appreciate you!

First time I ever heard her rehearsal and the performance of the same song. Without a doubt, how she varies the rhythm and inflections, it’s feeling and improvisation more than practice. Even the quality improves within the progression of a songs, having me believe she’s not even practicing standard warmups.
