You Say I was mesmerized by Angelina's performance of "You Say" at the Christmas Show on December 23, 2021. Her voice was so powerful and emotional that I felt a surge of sensations in my body. I don't believe in any god or religion, but I admire Angelina's human spirit and her dedication to her fans, whom she calls her Angles. I wonder if there is something more than the natural laws that govern the universe, something that can explain the phenomenon of Angelina Jordan. Einstein and Spinoza had a similar view of God as the order and harmony of nature, but they could not account for the uniqueness and creativity of Angelina Jordan.

The entire Christmas concert is a pillow for your soul! Well said, Zack. What a Christmas present that concert was for us. I wish she'd do another. Last year she put out some covers of Christmas songs, and they made my hollidays sweeter. This is one of my favorites of AJ's covers of pop songs, in this case a truly great song. She's from Planet Wonderful, a hidden orb revolving around her Angels on earth.

Zack, her Christmas Show was very nice, beautiful music, interviews with great musicians who told us basically it was an honor for them to play for Angelina and to listen to Angelina talk to us like never before. All good. And then she surprised us with THIS. You described it perfectly, she touched every emotion in our bodies with the soulful depth of her voice and it made us believe she truly is a living 'Angel'. Zack, look how emotionally moved you were listening to this and you had already listened to Lauren and knew how beautiful the song was. MOST of us never heard this song before and many of us had no idea who Lauren Daigle was. We listened to this and never wanted the song to end. Can you imagine how we must have reacted to this without knowing what to expect? Lots of us will always regard this performance as her finest moment and we will play it for ourselves every once in a while. What's so crazy is that the feeling we get listening to her never ebbs. The soulfulness is genuine.

Some fans have cut portions from AJ’s Christmas Show that live-streamed on Dec 23 of '22. I'm not aware that this song was released separately. AJ was accompanied by some amazing musicians. Greg Field toured and played for Ray Charles, Harry James, Mel Torme, Count Basie, Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra. His wife, Monica Mancini, one of Henry's daughters, filled in on the piano until Shelly Berg arrived. Berg has worked throughout the music industry but is especially dedicated to education. He has been dean of Frost School of Music at the University of Miami in Coral Gables since 2007. He stated in all his years of working with great vocalists, he had never encountered a talent like AJ. The bass player was Chuck Berghofer. He has accompanied Ray Charles, Bob Cooper, Ella Fitzgerald, Stan Getz, Peggy Lee, Shelly Manne, Gerry Mulligan, Art Pepper, Frank Rosolino, Seth MacFarlane, and Frank Sinatra. Jimmy Z was there, too. He has worked with Rod Steward, Etta James, the Eurythmics, and Doctor Dre. While chatting during a break, the group commented that AJ has the storytelling ability of the greats, Streisand, Fitzgerald, Vaughan, including Sinatra.

❤️❤️❤️❤️👣 As others have noted, this was part of a live stream that Angelina did, which were Christmas songs. She sang this song as a separate bonus and dedicated it to her fans. I also haven't been able to find it on a streaming site like Spotify. There were long interviews with Angelina as well as the amazing award winning musicians who played with her here, one of whom was Jimmy Z, who just performed with Angelina at her LA concert. What is available on Spotify is an EP called Driving Home For Christmas which has all of the Christmas songs minus this song and the interviews but which adds the title track Driving Home For Christmas which Angelina recorded at 17 rather than 15 as with this song. That EP is an anytime of the year listen for me because of the jazzy performance of the songs plus Angelina's purely magic vocals. I often listen to this EP in my car. When you say that "She's not from here" it brings to mind the many comments by others that I have seen saying that they believe she was literally put here by God to help bring light to a dark world. Personally, I 'm not at all convinced that they are wrong. I just went to the LA concert, and she, of course, has fantastic vocal prowess, but the important thing to many angels is WHO she is as much as what she does. She is kindhearted, gracious, humble, and always tries to see the positive in even a bad circumstance. She is pure class. Believe me when I say that you owe it to yourself to listen to that EP even if you don't review it online. Watching a recording of the whole livestream, including the interviews, would also be well worth your time.❤️🙂.
