I am a Black American, living in S.A. and have traveled throughout Africa. Steve Harvey's attitude and behavior is unacceptable! Arrogant! Not my favorite. I believe these African Presidents should STOP meeting with these entertainers and athletes. Especially, Americans. Our behavior can be unacceptable. I've seen it myself. These people are NOT on the President's level. It's time to DEMAND respect.

@ianolwoch842 Correction, it's mmmmm not stooping low, one thing most people don't know is that in Zambia it is a tradition for State house to be open to the public, anyone can book to go see the President in person so the Celebrities coming from outside are given preference, this has been there from independence, there's nothing wrong with Steve Harvey, Neyo,etc to pay homage, the Principle of Ubuntu says you don't enter into someone's land without permission. Why can't we appreciate withe words of life he said to Zambians than having smoke over the slides. 😂😂,

Us USELESS AFRICANS, ALWAYS MAKING ISSUES out of NOTHING. The point is, business culture differs. AFRICANS are used to WORSHIPING some PRESIDENT of theirs like he is some God of some sort. That is why they remain poor and shallow minded. Steve Harvey has a way of speaking and presenting, even in his shows, and when you watch them you think he is arrogant or dispectful but NO, he comes from a culture of a mix of being comedian and and reality shows. The point is he was simply acting his usual way, and saying "next slide", "next slide" DOES NOT Mean a person is ARROGANT! NONSENSE. He got frustrated with some technical setup that was not working. In africa things like that happen. You want to start a presentation and the power goes off". He simply wanted to get to the most important Slides in his deck so that he discusses the main points. Some Zambian saying "we are giving him money because he wants to invest here". Nonsense. Which country in the world is NOT crying to get investors??, because they are the ones who bring money and create jobs in the long run. AFRICANS, STOP this NONSENSICAL EXEGERATED SELF-IMPORTANCE. Learn to adapt and accommodate. So you think everyone out there has some patience of going through a lot of Slides, just like you spent the whole Sunday in Church???? Time is money. I am an AFRICAN but I get irritated by AFRICANS complaining about everything, and making issues out of nothing! STOP IT!

Like "who does he think he is? presi my *ass. How much has he even got? Shouldn't have been told who he was meeting? And what he stands to gain thru this meeting?" Stuff like these in the circumstances can't be seen as new. Just a symptom of the behavioural stigma associated with people who are self conscious of the fact they are far better than the ones they dealing with. It’s time to stop inviting those clowns,I strongly opposed it when that ignorant black Amerikkkan dude Floyd Mayweather was invited to my Country Zimbabwe for a PR tour. He was paid 1 million dollars by the govt to visit a Country he does not care for,he just came for fast money, paid by a corrupt Govt official. It’s time we put priority in our people instead of these black Amerikkkans and their superiority complex.

Africans need to understand that respect is earned, not granted. If the Zambian president is not complaining publicly, why are Zambians crying foul on social medias?
@cdossatАй бұрын
@@benedictmukomena8001 I beg to disagree a bit. I lived in many African countries, and I have seen some of the worst disrespectful behaviors. Just as I have seen in western countries. I think it is more about Africans treating their leaders as mini-Gods than bare humans. As I mentioned above, I have yet to hear or see Zambian's president complain about Steve's behavior. I know Steve Harvey for years and he is one of the most decent persons I have met. That video might have been taken out of context unless folks in that meeting say otherwise.
@benedictmukomena8001Ай бұрын
@@cdossat Alright I'll have to fully agree on your comment. Yes there are many disrespectful people in Africa as well. And also the corrupt leaders is an issue. I understand your point. But let's hope Steve Harvey never mearnt that behavior. Cause that just wasn't nice in general and also unprofessional.

@cdossatАй бұрын
@@oriont6944 Well, this would never happen in Japan because a Japanese president would never put himself in that position. Additionally, why is that person in the meeting intervening and asking Steve to introduce himself? This is so common in African countries where some government officials just try so hard to suck up to the president. Zambian President seems fine during the presentation. He did not ask Steve to introduce himself because he has talked to Steve a hundred times. That official just came across as so ridiculous and weird.

Steve Harvey, like many wealthy Foundational Black Americans (FBA) don't see Africans as their equals. They feel, like many FBAs, feel like going to Africa is doing Africa a favor not the other way around.
@nonya819328 күн бұрын
I would say SOME but not many have this superior attitude. But they also have it towards othe fba who are not wealthy, whom they deem less than. It's more of a class issue than a race issue. As a Black American I know for a fact that the vast majority of us embrace Africa and African people. We have literal Pan African movements, Kwanzaa holiday, etc. All to feel connected to our distant cousins. We take y'all under our wing when y'all move here. So please don't throw us under the bus with the likes of Steve Harvey or anyone equally ignorant or arrogant. That doesn't represent the majority.
@wesoarweconquer26 күн бұрын
He should not have been entrained in the first place! Arogant & disrespectful, he thought himself superior. Celbrities aren't here in the UK flocking to chat willy-nilly with Prince Charles or Keir Stamer the Prime Minister-it angers me when I see Africa stoop low for these people!

What about when 50 cent visited Nigeria,despite hospitality shown by Nigerians to him,he remarked saying he feels blessed to be American coz what they see as trash in America, it’s luxury in Nigeria, so only a fool will invite people with such condescending attitudes to Africa again,they are not our people coz we are sick of their rotten attitudes.
@Me.Muscovy29 күн бұрын
I think the problem is twofold. First, most Americans, due to their political culture, the common man (sorry, i meant Mr. Harvey) has a lack of recognition for (any) diplomatic formalities. This, combined with (his) arrogance, makes them look down on people from other nations, especially African nations. Second, i don't believe anyone from the host administration did a briefing as to the formalities required in front of the head of state. In which case, someone should have been there to make sure those instructions are followed. ✌️❤️🇹🇿
