Actually America is ok and other European countries, this is only a France problem because it chose to be complacent to not invest in its country because they believed they would exploit these African countries forever. Possibly the aid that was sent to the African countries was more a matter of exporting EU inflation. They couldn't pay more for the mineral exports because that would fuel economic growth and break dependency. So the whole scheme was to have the African states believing they had to depend on Europe for aid. So they had to keep leaders in Africa "Democrazically" elected as that was the easiest way to keep the countries poor and their leadership corruptible.

Kolo The past leaders were criminals/crooked/had no balls/slaves/stupids etc…each leader who came to power got richer and richer…the next ones came and people thought they will be different and then did the same thing. Until recently some African leaders started to stand for theirs rights but they still very scared. Traore came, he showed the whole Africa how it’s done. The region of Sahel started to recoup, started to united and they became more and more powerful because theirs people finally stand behind them for the legitimacy of what they are doing for the people rather than get rich themselves. They do not scare of foreigners. They trade with countries like Russia/China who respect them and not get advantage like France. Because Africa is so big and Africa still have lots of crooked leaders, I pray that Africa protect leaders like Traore so he can fulfill his duty towards his people. Since he came to power, rumors have surfaced that assassination against him have already been done a few times. France and others have been colonized Africa for so long and Africa still very poor but since Traore and the neighbors leaders stand strong against foreigners, we can see that Burkina Faso/Mali started to be doing better than under the control of France and Co.
