This song reminded me of my first crush in elementary. We were teammates in volleyball. I didn't know why but I find him attractive. Those smiling eyes and his laugh is music for me. I wanted to tell him my feelings, not just me making "nakaw tingin" at him. I told him but he didn't rejected me. He didn't say anything and he made memories with me. We'd go walking together and even gave me his number. I thought he liked me too not until someone told me that he likes someone more prettier than me. I was brokenhearted. I thought there was that "thing". Before we said goodbye, I asked where he'll enter highschool and he said the prestigious school in our town so I was determined to go after him. After the volleyball contest, we went our separate ways. I begged my relatives to go to that school for me to get back at that developing love but they said no. After 3 years, I saw him again at a event of the competing schools for sports. I cheered for him because he was still playing volleyball even though our team was defeated. I had a bf at that time, but maybe its not wrong for me to cheer him right? After all, he was an old "friend". Then I didn't see him again. After 2 years again, in May 2020, I received a friend request from him. We talked about everything we remembered together and finally had closure when he said he liked me too at that time. I was happy, super happy. After 1 week of being friends, he asked me if he could court me and I said yes immediately. Although we are apart, I know in my heart that he is serious of me. So after a month, I said yes. Now, we are 9 months already and still getting stronger. I am glad I confessed my feelings for him at that time. Even though we didn't work at that time, still there was that right time for us to work together. I am glad and happy I am with my right person. I love you, my sunshine.😊💖

I did confessed to my crush after I heard this song a month ago. Nagkakilala kami online dahil sa PT ko sa PR at nagpapa survey ako. Hindi ko aakalain na after sa survey nag uusap pa rin kami. Tas Di nagtagal after a week nagkagusto na ako sa kanya, u know we same a lot of similarities lalo na sa memes and hobbies. Unti Unti kaming nag shashare nang mga personal experience sa buhay namin. Nung narinig ko ang kantang ito, dito ako kumuha nang lakas ng loob na umamin sa kanya. Umamin ako sa kanya araw² sa pamamagitan ng memes minsan straightforward ko sinasabi sa kanya na "I like u boy" pero dinadagdagan ko nalang nang "charot" para Di siya ma awkward no. Tas after 2 weeks, nagka problema ako sa school ko tas nagka usap kami. Iniiwasan ko talaga maging moody kasi madali siyang nakakahalata kun may pinoproblema ako ganun pero wala eh nahalata na niya talaga, so ayun tinulungan niya ako. He even taught me how to fight back sa mga problema ko, kasi ako lang daw mismo ung kalaban sa sarili ko, pagkatapos namin mag usap andami niyang ni recommended na mga songs ng Green Day which is his fav Rock Band, para lang matulungan ang sarili ko sa pag realise ng mga bagay² sa pamamagitan ng songs nila.
