City of my childhood and school days, cool mid- european architecture and feel, great food, tradition, long history and people! Outstanding video, recording, narration, selection of places and venues, everything! Hopefully one day i'll return permanently and be buried with my old folks. I think one of the interesting things that could be seen at 4:00 is that you could hear a shot in the background. Considering there is no clock in the video, but the shot was the Grič cannon, which shoots every day at noon, so alot of citizens of Zagreb know what hour it is when they hear the cannon shot.

Literal translation of that would be "thank welcome". To correct you, it can be or "hvala vam (ti)" (thank you) or "nema na čemu" (you're welcome).

I think that the best place in Zagreb iz Park Maksimir for nature and walks, woods, 5 lakes, amazing. And also Sljeme, other parts are better at winter when its famous advent, known as best advent festival in whole Europe.

Croatian language has three dialects: Shtokavian, Chakavian and Kajkavian. The last one is kinda special because even we sometimes don't understand each others. Kajkavian is "old Croatian" or how Croatian spoke in the past, so few hundrends years ago. And yes, Slovenian language is based on Kajkavian dialect.
