Easily one of the most dominant tournaments by an individual wrestler in recent history

Coaching putting Mayes down in the 3rd was an… interesting decision. He gets the first takedown and was already giving up over a minute of RT without getting close to getting out, neutral seems like the obvious choice.

7:50 after hitting the granby roll? Zain is still on top of Mayes. During this time, he grabs his wrist and locks it onto his back, using his sternum to keep it in place 7:55, it is more clearly shown. It is now known that the top position is the most advantageous.

3:17 what’s going on here? Isn’t this out of bounds? Both wrestlers have a limb out of bounds and Mayes isn’t being actively pinned… so confused

That was a pretty sweet move by Zain at about the 2 minute mark of the first period. What's that called? I'd call it an an outside single, but it has a duckunder element to it as well.
