Dr Mario's are damn near extinct, but hes such a fun character to watch. His range is tiny but Franz kept it close every game against a Marth.

Doc is really good. Wish the recovery were a bit better and that a couple moves had more purpose, like downtilt. I'm not sure if dair for doc is any good. Overall not a bad character though.

dair's one of his better moves. good hitbox, good priority, autocancels on fullhop

The recovery is definately one of his most glaring weaknesses. Dtilt is actually sick though. At high % it sends opponent off ledge at a nasty angle with surprising power!

Down tilt is actually frame 5 and actually destroys people at high percent! Dair is big and long lasting

down tilt is great it has a really harsh arc and hits people behind u at high percent, hitting a spacey with it at 80+ percent can send them pretty far off the stage if by ledge

Marth's range mixed with his frame data makes it really hard for doc to get in, which doc has to do because he has such awful range on every move that isn't a pill. Literally anyone who plays doc will tell you Marth is the worst to play against. The wiki will probably say the same thing.

@@screenwriter4208 she most definitely is. Peach's survivability and floatiness makes it hard. However, peach doesn't have an answer for down throw fair at mid percents other than good DI. At slightly higher percents down throw under a platform is good against less skilled peach players, you can punish the missed tech or react to a tech roll with fair and kill. Did this to a peach on netplay the other day actually, bad DI had them dead in the mid 80 on stadium

@Joshua Suh neither would I, pikachu best recovery and Doc worst lol. their neutral with pills/thunderjolt would be similar if Doc could risk trying to recover and if Doc had decent speed to go in faster on disadvantage state opponents.

@@Vondo4 Pretty sure falcons recovery is better. Goes further, DownB refreshes his double jump, he has one of the best aerial drift and in some cases he can walljump.
