I am 61 and a male living in US for last two decades. Aapa has started a very interesting program and I would like to commend her this effort. My Bhopali sister just said she that " CHILDREN HAVE AVERSION TOWARDS MUTTON" Unfortunately It is the same dilemma here in US too. But you know what, for this I blame the parents. Today's parents are very different and they pretty easily succumb and submits to the demand of their children. Goat or mutton meat is the most delicious and nutritious meat. Meat selection is an art and when you visit a butcher you just have to choose a young goat and that meat will never fail u. I started going bazar for home shopping around 1971 when I was only eleven and learned with experience how and what to purchase. By the grace of Allah I boast and brag of my grocery shopping expertise and today I am proud that while living in Pakistan all alone when my parents would visit US for long vacations with the help of my mother now 84 and who is the greatest of all cooks, I learned cooking at around twenty and I am proud that today I am the cook of my household. i must say Hum TVs cooking channel have immensly help to enhance my cooking skills.

اس نئی سیریز (سلسلے) ذائقےگھرگھرمیں ہم آپکا دوسرا پروگرام دیکھ رھے ہیں۔ انتہائی معذرت کیساتھ کہ دونوں ہی جگہ پہ کوئی خاص کھانے نہیں تھے۔۔۔انتہائی عام اوراوسط درجے کے کھانے تھے۔۔۔ البتہ ان لوگوں کے گھر بہت خوبصورت تھے۔۔۔ سوال یہ ہے کہ کیا یہ پروگرام صرف اچھے گھر اور اچھے دکھائی دینے والے لوگوں کے بارے ہی بنائے جائیں گے یا پھر اچھے کھانوں کے بارے میں۔۔۔۔؟ پہلے پروگرا م میں ہم نے کوفتوں کی ریسپی دیکھی جو کہ انتہائی عام اور اوسط درجے کی تھی۔۔۔۔۔۔ یہ کوفتے تو آپ نے اپنے پروگراموں میں کئی باراس سے ھزاروں کروڑوں گُنا اچھے بنائے ہوئے ہیں۔۔۔ بلکہ آپ کے بنائے ہوئے کوفتوں کی ریسپی کا تو ان سے مقابلہ ہی نہیں کیا جاسکتا۔ اگر آپ نے گھر گھر جانے کا یہ تردُد ہی کرنا ہے تو پھر اچھی طرح سے تحقیق کرکے ان کھانوں کی بنیاد پہ گھروں کو منتحب کریں جہاں نت نئے یا کچھ تخلیقی قسم کے کھانے جو کہ مختلف علاقوں کی ثقافت کو اُجاگر کریں ۔۔۔۔۔ نہ کہ ایلیٹ کلاس کے رنگ برنگے کپڑوں اور انٹیرئیر کو ۔۔۔۔۔۔۔!!!
