I used for years the first generation of Furbo without problems, but after changing my wi-fi password, it never worked again - because it simply won't connect. Now I have a completely useless device that you can't even send anywhere for assistance. Followed all instructions and talked to many people on tech support - cause everything they ask you to do, makes you disconnect with them. Nothing worked.

Hi Zak! I got a Furbo "for my pup" ;) for Christmas - my only concern is that Bailey has some separation anxiety when we are gone. He is a little over 1 year old. My question I have with the Furbo is whether or not him hearing our voice when we are gone would increase his separation anxiety? I want to reward him for being good and not destructive when we leave but also don't want to increase his anxiety. Any recommendations? Thank you! Ps - can you come to MN and do some training sessions with Bailey? ;)

Kahla Weber The only way to find out is to try but I honestly think a dog with separation anxiety will calm down when he hears your voice and it will comfort him. When I first got my stray Travis I had no idea just how severe his S.A. was until I left him alone while taking my other dog Cozy to her dog training course and then stayed in the store shopping I was gone at least 3 hours and when I got home my Berber carpet was destroyed in the area leading into my bedroom as I had the door shut and Travis tried to dig his way into the room looking for me, poor guy. I was upset that he shredded the carpet but it was my fault for not knowing I should’ve either brought him with me or crated him. I have a dog door and I found out he had also dug his way under the door to the gate in the backyard and had actually landed in the front yard but thankfully since he couldn’t find me he didn’t run away he came back into the house as he was waiting by the door when I came home. The reason I know he dug his way under the gate and landed on the other side was at the time I had just gotten him as a stray and he was not potty trained and was marking territory everywhere so I had to keep a male wrap (diaper) on him when I couldn’t be around to watch him. Well it was the hugest mystery when I got home that his wrap was off even though I kept it on him snugly and he never tried to take it off. I searched the whole house everywhere and couldn’t find it. Then a week or so later I found it laying on the ground in the front yard right next to the gate! It was obvious that as he had crawled under the gate door the wood scraped it off his body. I’m just so grateful he was smart enough to go back inside the house and wait for me instead of running away and getting lost looking for me. That was back in 2012 and I have no idea if I left him home alone without my other dog if he would go crazy again or if he could trust that Mom will be back soon and would never abandon him like someone did to him when he was dumped at a school site at the age of 2! Sorry the story is so long but I think if you work with your dog he will grow out of the anxiety.

If I got this I'm worried my dog would rip it apart for the treats. She tends to chew anything that smells edible while I'm out. She's even been known to chew scented candles, recycling packaging and even my bowel cancer sample! Eww! While I am out.

I tried to comment below to let you know someone is stealing your videos if you look for the channel UNIQUE they are taking a lot of dog creator's content & stealing them. I found several of mine on there. 🙃
