Thank you and your wife for all the efforts in climbing the highest hills and hiking for miles and miles just to bring us those beautiful pictures - and thank you for your perfect cameraman's eyes ! Who else would hike up the steepest path and still see the beautiful, little flowers besides the path and film them for us, or would bring us a view of "flowers and lava", as you did ?? I tell you: no one else would ! So thanks and thanks again for your nice pictures, exhausting hikes and for letting us see through you eyes ! Take care and, please, be careful hiking there !

My God, I can not believe that anyone could like this amateur's films. These are macabre to watch! All the time shaking camera and haotic camera movement without any steady possision. No plan at all. His camera is not a human eye - it has no stabilization. Man - go to some filming course. Only explanation for the author is, that he is very ambitious but very very far away from art of filming. Sorry for him and all viewers.

You both are so fit! What an insult to arrive at the top of 'Big Ram' after hiking all that way only to find a helicopter full of tourists getting there the easy way. Anyway, they missed the beauty of the geology and ecology that you graciously shared with us. Haven't seen the volcano erupt from this view before. I do believe that the single exit from the crater will form into a lava tube in which the river will continue to use but at a faster pace due to no contact with the cold air. We'll wait and see. Thanking you, Kris.🇦🇺

These pretty plants 🪴 💐 almost look like SUCCULENTS, kind of like Aloe, or“Hens & Chicks” a #Sempervivum” plant. These plants grow on rocks & cracks in walls, basically in very poor soil conditions. I don’t know for sure but it’s possible to take a photo & use a Plant ID App to ID them. Heck! Maybe they’re an Icelandic Thistle.
