Although Zakharova is not the most ideal Aurora, in this dream vision sequence she is absolutely brilliant. The whole dance ought to remind you of a dainty glass figurine twirling in a music box or in a magical Christmas globe. Movements should glide across the stage like an ice skater, toes barely touch the ground. This is how it exactly should be done-full of fairytale like nostalgia. When it comes to this type of classical footwork Svetlana is simply, QUEEN. Very very few prima ballerinas in the world can match her lightness of foot and perfection of lines.
