hey man ,to my ear that Les Paul Zakk is fairly bright , even brighter than a Jackson Soloist kinds of guitar , Am I right ? I play metal , I'm very interested in this model , But I always fear that it could be over-bright for metal.

I know that you saw the jim dunlop chanel (zakk's gear).when they talk about zakk's strings gauge, do you understand how type he uses.i ask you cause im italian and i cant understand the language.i listen 3 types of gauge on interview.can you write them here in this comment? Well, He basicly uses .10-.60 when the whole guitar is tuned standard or half step down (Eb). And when The whole guitar is one step down (D), He uses 11.-.70. Keep in mind that even when He uses E or Eb tuning, there are songs that He drops the low E to D, B or A, like Funerall Bell or Super Terrorizer

I used to use the GHS .10-.60 string In the ebony Les Paul, but they are too hard to play. Now I use the ernie ball .10-.52
