Zakk Wylde Live With Eddie Trunk on Sirius/XM, January 6th, 2014

January 6th, 2014 Black Label Society's Zakk Wylde was in New York. He was doing press and radio in support of his upcoming record "Catacombs Of The Black Vatican" Eddie Trunk spent 1 hour on-air talking about the new record and life with Ozzy Osbourne. Since their late nineties inception, Black Label Society, formed by guitar legend Zakk Wylde, has been at the forefront of their genre. Their taste for hard riffs and blazing solos has resulted in a slew of hugely successful albums and a reputation as one of the most powerful live bands of their generation.
Zakk Wylde, who has been called one of the true guitar heroes in modern history, served as Ozzy Osbourne's guitarist for over 20 years in addition to his work with BLS. This collaboration led to a string of multi-platinum albums, including Osbourne's biggest selling "No More Tears," for which Wylde wrote all the music.

Okay hold on here first I'm a BIG FAN & this not to any disrespect. 14:45 minutes in on the interview with Zakk, Eddy you said on that metal show (you hate it when bands go back & redo there last LP like AC/DC does) in all fairness they are the only band that can actually do that & get away with it. Now Black Sabbath still had Bill, Tony, & Geezer & now DIO!!! 90% of Black Sabbath is still in Black Sabbath, now here is the business side coming out, Black Sabbath name is already established worldwide it would have been a bad marking to change the name of the band. Now bands have to out do there last CD / LP & you don't want to another LP like the last one so you need to change your sound & recording like Rush did on Big Money LP & it suck sorry it did. But Rush keep evolving to try new things. Black Sabbath did a quote from Tony (the difference in singing between DIO & OZZY, OZZY will follow the drums & the guitar parts just listen to the song Iron Man, to where ware DIO would have a broader range of singing) I love Ozzy day & I love DIO days in Sabbath. Good for Sabbath not to record there LP like there did with OZZY. Can you imagine Metallica doing the Black Album 5 time in a row...
