@@npc6817 not really. all of these model kits are designed in CAD. everything is done on computers.

@@JangoTheBlueFox no, not the characters. cad is great for mechanical stuff like models, but nothing beats expert hands when you are dealing with small human figures and, altough it is possible to use those methods, I honestly doubt they woulddo that, especially for such iconic and beloved carachters as those in this kit. you sculpt "generic gm pilot" in zbrush, not solid snake. or maybe they dont give a shit and you are absolutely right, hell if I know.

@Brique Zallivam rex was a wide boi. But was very low because he rarely stood up fully, he was usually squatted. Everything about rex was badass, whoever credited with the design needs a medal.

Absolutely lovely kit. Love it all around, although I have not build it yet. Just got the recent re-release after missing out on it when it first released. Love Kotobukiya for releasing a lot of videogame kits (also those amazing Ikaruga kits!).

i feel like i blew my gunpla load here. i just started building and this was like my 1st or 2nd 1/100 and nothing has ever felt so good to put together since (freedom 2.0 was close though). the detail and intricacy is incredible. the legs are a massive stand out for me. but that could my massive metal gear fan talking lol it DOES stand on its own in it resting position (with the hind leg type things down.) but action poses need a stand. glad to know real gunpla people think this is a good kit too! :D

This isn’t a solid kit. The plastic is very cheap and flimsy compared to BANDAI kits. I threw mine in the bin because the ball joints were pathetically weak due to the cheap plastic. Parts were falling off, especially the toe nails and missile things on the knees. The part that was good was the main body. Wouldn’t recommend getting this.
