Belated thanks for the review, building this one now. Just have the feet, gun and shield done. FYI, your side handle on the beam cannon is backwards. Flip it, slide it to the rear and fold forward, there's a notch in the side of the gun for end of the handle to slot into and fits neatly.

I now have all three Build Strike Gundam Full Packages. The MG is the best version but this RG is pretty high up there imo. The HG I'd only recommend if you're short on cash but still want version. I say get this one unless you really want the Star Build Strike in this scale right now

the Build Strike looks like what happens if SEED Destiny had a sequel & this is the protagonist Gundam, assuming that was intentional or this was Sei Iori's fanfiction creation of a sequel or side story due to him being a huge SEED fan who still wanted more of that series.

I know ZakuAurelius isn't a big fan of the design but I happen to like it.So i agree with you I want an RG Zaku amazing aswell...unfortunately it will probably never happen.If anything we'll probably get a Sengoku astray RG since the Sengoku and the build strike seem to get the most attention,and besides they already have an RG astray red frame to build off :/

man, this was the first RG i bought, before i knew anything about gundam continuity, and the only kit i've got rid of since i started this hobby. traded it for an eighth of weed. no idea why they made a real grade of this, it sure didn't need one. blew my mind when i'd only built HGs and one old MG, but not very interesting otherwise. also i didn't even have a nipper then, amazing that i could get it together at all

I'm pretty sure it got an RG because in the show, it's upgrade the Star Build Strike has an inner frame and the whole RG system thing. Though the actual kit in the anime is just an HG with scratch built parts.

Build Strike model and armor are similar to Freedom and Strike Freedom. Build Strike is a custom build and modified version. And the Jet Booster is a bit weird with the wings but still all in all fun build and just awesome
