This is my first and as of yet only Gundam Model kit and I must say when I was first putting it together i wasnt thinking it was worth 20 dollars but that was until I started to finish the model its self the amount of extra features with the back pack and the weapons made it well worth the cost jut from the fact that you have options to customise the model with out having to buy extra markers or paint .

Just thought I'd stop in and say that P-Bandai is releasing a master grade RG Mode of this in April. The inner frame is clear blue and the armor plating is pearlescent.

Hey @TYPE V3 do you know how to fix the waste section of the star build strike because mine just snapped at the white peg on the white waste section,I tried using krazy glue but it still broke off even though I gave it hours to dry.Do you recommend tamaya ultra thin cement?or what else should I use?

when that happened to my Qan(T), I drilled a hole into the piece and used a runner rod of the same color, glued it in, then glued a polycap ball to the rod and let it dry

You should really invest in a grey panel-lining marker. If that's your aesthetic preference then I apologize but i've always found black panel lining on white plastic to be too contrasting.

Yeah I've been told thAt before from some friends too. I actually tried grey on the Sengoku Astray but I couldn't really see a big difference. Maybe I'm just inking too much :/

Anthony Kazuto the build burning is easier to do because you need to remove the blue clear part for the star build strike you need to remove the entire grey part so the star build strike rg system is harder to make.

judai yuki I assembled this as my first kit with a borrowed pair of cutter pliers, an X-acto knife (make sure the blade is clean or it'll mark the light pieces), and scissors (not for cutting, but for guiding the tiny camera stickers onto the head. I have Sharpies as well for colouring, but no paint or Gundam markers, which other people have recommended to me. I am getting a proper set of side cutters, a file, and two tweezers. I found the side cutter and tweezers through Amazon, and the small file through HobbyLink Japan. My finished kit looks a little rough and I decided not to do any panel lining, since colouring the Absorb Shield was tricky enough (on the inside). It took me nearly 8 hours, and I have no idea if that's an average time for a real beginner. The trickiest part was putting the forehead jewel and its holder into the V-fin, a process that took me nearly 15 minutes because I kept whittling away at the sides until it would fit. No reviewer I have seen _ever_ talks about how tiny some of the pieces and stickers are, or how hard they can be to put on. Also take note that while there is no place to store any of the weapons when they are not in use other than the beam sabers, one beam saber blade part can be pegged into the rifle, although it does tend to sag, which doesn't look impressive after awhile. Still, I have my Star Build and the Universal Booster guarding my room. Hopefully my next kit, the 'HG 1/144 00 Raiser + GN Sword III' will arrive in a couple of weeks and on time to keep the Star Build company. ***** I'm having problems attaching the Plavsky Wings. I put the smallest set on the thighs, and the largest set on the Universal Booster with the pegs the same direction as the Star Build's back. Do you have any advice on the rest?

Hey TYPE V3 Is this kit more advanced/higher quality than the HGBF Amazing Exia? You mentioned that the Exia uses an outdated kit, although it was released mid/late 2014.

Vandoeun Long Although the Amazing Exia was release in 2014, it uses all the parts from the original HG Exia R2 which was released in 2007/8. Whereas the Build Strike is based off of the HG Aile Strike released in 2013.
