If The arm was sturdy enough a 2.0 should be fine without a shield stand. Modern gunpla are fairly good at holding heavy accessories

It has the opposite effect to me. It looks more silly than menacing. I have to agree with both Homing Fung and ImageBreaker that the Psycho Gundam Mk2 and the FA-78 Full Armor have more menacing faces.

When i was little, my dad asked me which master grade should he build between the Gp02 and the Hyaku Shiki. Being the little kid i was, i chose the one with huge ass thrusters and a bazooka. I still have it today but I still couldn't find the shield til today.

As for holding the shield, I got it to kinda hold it by using the open hand option, and just wedge that sucker into the handle.. .. and still make sure you rest the shield up on the toe.

If you rest the bottom tip of the shield on one of the foot spikes it can hold the shield up even with the bazooka inside. Because its rested on the spike It makes for a fairly good illusion of holding the shield and you can tilt the shield off to the side for a more relaxed pose

they probably will release 2.0 in real grade, found the design in the art book "Master Archive Zephyrantes". Really well designed, standing together with stamen.

I bought this kit the day it came out in Kobe, Japan back in 1998. I still have it today. Except for a broken antenna, I've kept it in excellent condition. I also have the original 144 scale of it. The MG is Heaven by comparison.

I broke the hip ball joint. When i built it second time, i put putty inside since it is hollow. Also i add layer of glues on the shoulders, booster connections, now my gp02 is in flying mode no problem

Apparently, there was a time when Bandai pretty much cared about other series; until SEED and Unicorn came along…… Oh, and why still no RG Physalis and Dendrobrium Stamen? Bandai can probably now apply on the Physalis the same advancements done on the RG Sazabi, both being extra thicc mobile suits (and by that, I don’t mean recycling the RG Sazabi’s frame; else we want another RG Sinanju).

Just a shot in the dark but if i wanted to have that sheild held up i was thinking of using a Figma stand (or bandai tamashii stand) to plug into the bottom by drilling a hole at the base of the shield or wherever i can drill a hole to insert some kind of stand for the shield itself

If you want to pose the shield without the assembled nukezooka, you can have him hold his shield by the handle of the stowed barrel. It's not perfect but, hey, if it works, it works.

Seeing that arm snap off, It reminds me of my first gundam toy- a battle damaged action figure of this guy. Which came with a cut off left arm and leg (you can replace those with functional parts)

A big part of the shield issue is it's design. The handle is so impractical that every version of the Physalis has trouble holding. The only solutions I can think of would be a 100% static arm that can support the weight or a redesign of the shield itself to make it more practical.

You can fake hold the shild by resting it on one of the foot spikes. This works even with the bazooka and you can get some fairly good ground poses that way. If you do it right you cant even tell its resting on the foot from most angles
