Wonderful that Ron Dante still keeps such a young voice. His voice doesn't get old with him.

Not only a young voice, but young looks and a young soul, too.

Ron Dante sounds and looks fantastic at live fabulous live performance. He had many beautiful pop singles released in the 60s that never really get promoted because with his good looks he should have been a huge pop idol. The audience here gave him a well deserved round of applause. God bless Ron Dante.

Love it! I've loved both these songs since I was a young girl. I'm 59 now - how time flies - and now my 8 year old grandson loves the song; Sugar Sugar. This sounds great!

Ron Dante was/is incredibly talented. He is not just a singer. He wrote and arranged many, many songs and jingles.

13 years old and Tracy was my favorite song. I had the Cuff Links album and 45. The album showed 4 guys. I was crushed when I found out it wasn't a real band. I wore the 45 out I played it so much.

Amazing that he had two top five songs at the same time and was incognito on both. He was then what Paul Carrack is now.

Same with Tony Burrows, look him up 'Edison Lighthouse "Love Grows Where my Rosemary Goes", White Plains 'My Baby Loves Lovin', The Brotherhood Of Man 'United We Stand' and First Class 'Beach Baby'.

This gets me angry. Ron Dante is giving his all & in spite of advancing age, pulls his vocals off quite well. The rest of the group should sit down & relisten to the 1969 recording, then try2 duplicate THAT sound exactly. I know guys & bands who have done this & were not around at that time; have no relationship with the Cufflinks, then pull off a cover BETTER than these guys! Key Nuances circa 1969: Brass section, organ accompaniment, background vocals singing so you can HEAR them, synchronized "bah bah bah bah bah bahhhh.." & the tambourine . Smash the sh_t out of that thing so it stands out. NOW we hear 1969 all over again!!!
@renarga68863 жыл бұрын
Ron Dante was (and still is) bigger than the group IMO.
