Hey brother Bill! I'm revisiting this video. :) Just wanted to say "thanks." The Lord really brough me clarity through this video a year or two back. Specifically the point you made about the judgment/discipline of God actually affirming His ongoing covenant relationship with Israel has been so helpful. That point has really brought clarity. (especially with encountering preterism lately) It reminds me of the curses/blessings in Deuteronomy 27-30. Once again, thank you for this, the Lord bless you brother! :)

Great presentation. Well done 👍 Amen. The Master spoke of this baseless hatred making him a target as well (Jn 15.25).

An example of that baseless hatred could be Zacheous the tax-collector, who upon meeting Jesus, repented of extortion racket he had going against his own countrymen. How very loving of Jesus to say that salvation had now come to him. Your insights are so very helpful, Bill. Thank-you.

The most important point I heard in this was that the way the temple was being administered by the people of that time was very much criticized but the temple, the feasts, and even the office of the high priest were still regarded as valid and worthy of respect. Covenant Faithfulness is fully intact, in a judgement that scatters the people (temporarily) and destroys the temple (temporarily) in order to make a point and call people to repentance in this evil age. The cost is worth it no matter what when compared to the glory of the age to come, an age that has a glorious temple at its very center.
