I'm Zambian, many of us prefer the brown Nshima too, we call it 'roller meal.' The white one is called 'breakfast meal' and is more popular.

This language is most closely related to Northern Sotho ( Sesotho sa Leboa ), Tswana ( Setswana ), Kgalagari ( SheKgalagari ) and Sotho ( Sesotho/Southern Sotho) in South Africa. Lozi are the sothos that ran from the zulus warriors during ethinic wars. But thats another topics for another day🙂
