Area Zero and its theme fit both the ancient past vibe of Scarlet, and the distant future vibe of Violet at the same time. It doesn't just sound like one or the other, it sounds like TIME ITSELF.

Area Zero's theme is by and far my favorite song in mainline Pokemon. I really, really feel something from it, something next to nothing has made me feel before.. Say what you want about Scarlet and Violet, yes it absolutely has its issues, I'm not defending them at all, but they went above and beyond for Area Zero. It's a whole other experience in this song alone. This places really high in my videogame OSTs of all time, even better than most of what PMD gave us- And I'm a hardcore PMD fan. It's really just.. Completely astounding.

I wholeheartedly agree. Walking into Area Zero felt like I was in a world similar to Made in Abyss. The sparkles in the air that just seemed to be, the crystals swallowing buildings, the almost alien looking Pokemon (similar enough to where we recognize them, but different enough to know something's off), on top of the darker turn the story takes was astounding. Definitely didn't expect that from a Pokemon game.

I really hope that the remakes for Gen 5 aren't as dull and lifeless with as little effort put into them as the diamond and pearl remakes were because Gen 5 was my first generation and it was the most work they had ever put into a Pokemon game until they switched to 3D where they kind of needed to put a lot of effort in to transfer the others in but they put so much love and care into those games and I hope and I'm praying that they can make them at least halfway decent representative of how good they used to be
