the skybox is bland and doesnt reflect well down on the trees. hence the disconnected look. I also thought the graphics esp when flying, look like from 2016. on foot it seems good. Also thanks to ubisoft's janky animations. There seems to be a lack of global illumination from the skybox. seems like they wanted to look like Horizon Forbidden West and stopped developing midway.

I see a lot of comments on here trashing the stroy, but honestly i have hope, and normally I'd agree since Ubisoft couldn't add actual depth to this game on their own. However Cameron was heavily involved in the story since the game is going to be part of the Avatar cannon, so the story might just be good and engaging. Not getting my hopes up, but considering I've been a fan since watching the original in theaters back in '08, i preordered just for the cool factor of an open world Avatar game. We'll see if it holds up.

The reason this game is in first person is because this game is made by 3D engineers and not gamers. 1st person is good for online shooters, 3rd person needs to be added because people want to engage with the character and environment. If I wanted to be Avatar I would play it on VR. This game needs to be like Horizon Zero Dawn. It sucs that there are psychopath lead developer snobs out there with bad visions that don't care about what others want. Your reckless decisions will be felt financially. I feel bad for other engineers that have put hard work in this. Get rid of these toxic lead developers!

I’m going to be honest, I don’t really see why everyone’s moaning about the game being a “far cry game” the far cry series is a very successful game fair to say some titles are better than others but the majority of far cry games are great in my opinion of course that is subjective to what you like but the 3rd person view I can understand to a point although with first person games you are so much more engaged with the environment and with a game like avatar I feel it’s the right move to make the game first person sure it would be a bonus if there was a third person tab so gamers had the option but I don’t think it’s that important. Overall I’m excited to try the game when it launches and hope people come to realise that almost every new game coming out and that has been released has a lot of similarities with previous titles. Thanks

@@lm4585 That’s fair you like what you like I guess, fair to say Ubisoft has made some terrible games in the past but they did create in my opinion one of the best story’s in the gaming industry and that’s assassins creed I am a die hard fan of assassins creed although the past few games have been terrible and a disappointment knowing the potential that Ubisoft has but at the end of it all the developers are one great game away from gaining back fans and trust

Third person is not important **to you** but it is to some people. First person is more immersive *to you** but it is NOT to some people. The peripheral view of third feels more correct to the square window you get in first. First person here also loses a sense of scale. This just seems like a regular size human with blue hands.

I just feel like after a few minutes of flying around in the “open world” I will start to get bored. If this game had come out a long time ago I would’ve enjoyed it more, but there are far better open world game options with more substance like Spider-Man 2 or hell even the new Hogwarts game. Nothing would make me want to walk around an open world that’s a forest.

Avatar Frontiers of Pandora was mid, It looked amazing, yes, it had beautifull landscapes and a extraordinary visual world, also yes. But I think it would be so much better if there were more "earth like" missions and locations, not just infiltrate and capture RDA generic bases. I mean, it would be cool to explore locations that are like giant RDA facilites, or vehicles, or ships, or even mission as a human in the Earth.
