@Kryptoskillet Why appreciate a watered down and bastardized version of the real thing? What story and lore? They turned him into a hero because of his wife, which make zero sense for many reasons. One being he shouldn't have a spouse, since Saiyans are Trojan like, as established in the original series. And it ruins the narrative Goku is an outcast. So when Goku says things like, "The Saiyans got what they deserved" it makes no sense to the narrative that his parents were goodie two shoe Superman/Moses parents clones. Why is his Mother good? Oh, just because. Never expanded upon, it's corny and lame. She should have been written as a Trojan Mama, as the narrative and setting dictated originally. Why on Earth would turning Bardock into a sympathetic character be a good thing? He's suppose to be a complete monster, that fits perfectly like a glove to the story of Goku and his evil roots. The irony of nostalgia, they're recycling everything from Z and watering it down like crazy, because of your nostalgia, instead of actually doing anything new.

@@shuanextreme I definitely gave it a lot of thought. Just very discontented with the awful reimagined version being poxy, weak, cringe and derivative. Goku is an outcast from an evil people, the original Bardock story fit that setting and theme very well and was a nice revisionist take on the tired Superman origin story, whereas Minus is just another generic parents save baby from doom cliche, but lamer.

honestly, after seeing the last scene, now opens the theory that DLCs 5 to 6 are goin to be centered in OG Dragon Ball, since Goku met Bulma to the 23rd Martial Arts Tournament, thus that would make sense since Teen Goku was teased and the succesions from the ending with Grandpa Gohan until the timeskip with Kid Goku will be connected
