Maybe he’s not that good. Maybe he doesn’t fit the chemistry and culture of the team.? This new coaching staff isn’t messing around. They are going after big fish and being successful with it. The transfer portal in my opinion is in great need of reevaluation and revamping. players who commit and sign on the dotted line and receive an NIL bag should entail some sort of stipulation that they have to play for at least one season, or something like that. The fact that heltons lines were miles better than anything Henson has sniffed here is crazy and he’s arguably had a better chance to make a better team. All come from HS where they played all 4 years, never had anyone really teach them accountability, etc, so finding guys that’ll actually respect hearing they aren’t really ready is hard to find especially when majority of the fan base cries about recruiting higher rated guys bc that’s kinda how that’ll go if they don’t play right away. It’s common theme of the whole sport rn, eventually they’ll realize running all over won’t speed up their play time especially if they wanna go to the next level. The sport just might be a few years from that happening tho

It doesn't matter if or whether the tweet or the report of Bear Alexander's imminent departure was posted. That's beside the point, which is that it was totally unverified, even unverifiable. Every wannabe sportswriter with a KZbin channel thinks whatever they read that, at face value, falls short of being even noteworthy, much less newsworthy & then proceeds to write about the hidden, cryptic meaning contained therein is simply bad reporting. This is not about vetting sources, neither to raise the matter of authentication &truth of the tweet... AFTER the fact. That ship has sailed. It's frankly ridiculous that you would conspire to defend those who CHOSE to drop it in their content without due diligence. Not just texting contacts within their 'insider' network, who have all seen the same tweet & jumping to the same overzealous conclusions as they are. Short of the ethical standard, 3 degrees of verification for all sources, only a tweet from Bear Alexander himself would've sufficed from an ethical standpoint. Short of that, it's just plain gossip & the ON3's & 24/7's of the world who started spreading the rumor should be held to account, not blindly defended.

Spare me the angry & arrogant words. Show me the ACTUAL evidence to back your claim or just move on to the next topic.
