Not the Zander, Pike or Perch. Grafham is stocked with Trout for fly fishing and eating.

@@flylurefishingphotographer Thank you for your reply, I was under the impression that you weren't allowed to return Zander, perhaps that is in state owned waterways

@@billywatts4689 Yes you are correct, in the UK Zander are still seen as an invasive species and are supposed to be removed if caught in some rivers and canals, not in Grafham water -thankfully. I think this perception is changing, partly due to lure fishing interest and also it's not clear that they take over from native fish in all situations. We have a far bigger problem with Cormorants destroying the the silver fish populations not to mention the Wells Catfish either!!

@@flylurefishingphotographer Thank you for taking the time to inform me. I have never caught a Zander as I live in the South East. My father said that you get them up Norfolk way or The Fens area?

@@billywatts4689 I believe they are in more of the rivers and canals than most people realise but Zander don't feed as much during daylight hours so can be difficult to catch.
