I dont care if it was week 1 or week 101, any team that gets stomped out by the giants is obviously mentally weak enough to crack under pressure. Im not intimidatednby any nfc team, besides Tampa. They may have a mental edge on us, but i still think we beat em finally. But anyone else im completely confident. And suoer bowl teams do not trade away their veteran starters. No matter how injured or bad they are playing. He can come back and finish strong in the playoffs. He is clearly playing injured and still makes big plays when needed like in that endzone. He is more valuable as n injured vet coaching the young boys than a 5th round pick would be if we want a ring. He has helped them developed as well as they have. Id rather him injured in the locker room and on the bench than playing for another team. Whos cares about picks? We gave a 3rd for jahan and were not getting that for slay. Were tryna win now. By teasing slay you aren't saying you trust the youth, you are saying that you don't value the leaders of the team and you don't value depth. Then when one of them gets injured and we have to bring in a practice team guy they will blame howie. He is a leader in the locker room. Trading him could mask l cause a collapse, the team lives him so you keep him no matter how you feel about him. Trading him for nothing is pointless and dangerous and clearly emotional and not analytical. Picks don't win supwrbowls, players do. We need players.
