American racing catted headers, double H pipe and corsa sport catback (touring mufflers) on my boosted s550. I love it. When I was young I wanted my cars as loud as possible but I'm over that now. Don't get me wrong my car will definitely get loud but it's not stupid loud. Being loud doesn't mean it sounds good either. Active exhaust is the best of both worlds. If I had active I'd probably go with the extreme system but I doubt I'd run it in track mode very often

How this sound compares to your old mach 1 with double x pipe? I have 2022 mach 1 with single h pipe. Love the sound , but still want it a little bit longer.. I also have double x pipe in my garage.. what would you recommend to go with? Thanks

I used to like how your turbo red mustang used to sound with the corsa xtreme. That was a match made in heaven because the turbo would tame some of the sound but it was still aggressive.👍👍

Sounds killer def my next purchase on exhaust. Hey Zander I got no check engine code on my 2018 mustang gt and it’s surging at idle. Leaning towards the vvt solenoids or cam phasers. Gonna clean up my maf and throttle body this wknd first

No check engine means it’s the solenoids, but clean up the maf and throttle body for sure. Cam phasers usually throw a check engine

Do you know what ford added port injection for? Valve wash, you don’t need catch cans unless your boosted

Ford has ALWAYS had port injection on the Coyote engine. Only until recently in 2018 did Ford add Direct Injection combined with Port injection. And yes, these catch cans Absolutely work, even when you are N/A. Many MANY MANY PPL have been doing this for years and they work. But absolutely a must have also when you are boosted.

Does sound better than the 19 when you had corsa. You convinced me (all your credit) to put the double h pipe on my 2020 GT500 and now i just installed the same extreme as you just did on my 23 GT. Looks and sounds great!

@MPRR: I have listened to the double H-pipe and it was deeper in tone and I felt like the double X-pipe was a bit more raspy; however, those comparisons were not Corsa exhaust.

@@gordydexter2615 double h is a bit deeper. I put a resonator delete x pipe from lethal to start on my 500. Then went corsa extreme double h but had kooks with no cats so It was so loud It didn’t matter how deep It was lol.

the loudest setting on an active exhaust is quieter than a non active exhaust. should have dumped all that garbage in the land fill and just went with the corsa extreme non active

Yes you can. You may need to modify one of these and add another check valve in the catch can lines or go with a UPR setup. They have some made specifically for your boost

So I had a 2019 GT PP1 Premium in all black with Active Exhaust. I currently have a 21’ GT PP1 Premium in Ox White over Showstopper Red, non active exhaust. I didn’t realize my current car didn’t have Active exhaust until I was driving g home after the deal Was done. I assumed it had it because the car is absolutely loaded so I just figured it had it. It doesn’t! Had I known it didn’t have it, I wouldn’t have bought it. The spec is what sucked me in and out blinders on me with the white over red. My 19’ with Active Exhaust sounded much better. Louder, more bass and just a tighter sound. No rasp. Exactly how your 22’ sounded before you put the Corsa on it. I know for me personally, my 19’ sounded better stock than my 21’ does stock and that’s simply because the 19’ had Active Exhaust and the 21’ does not. Perhaps your 19’ did not have the Active Exhaust? It’s such a diff maker. Completely diff sound. Just tighter with zero rasp…. Just wanted to share my personal experience. Again, the Active Exhaust made such a diff in sound so much in fact that I would not have purchased my 21’ had I confirmed whether or not it had it BEFORE I did the deal. I , stupidly, assumed it had it since it has Magride, B and O and every other option but no AE. Lesson, before you drop $54k on a car, review every single option, you will be thankful you did!

Yeah it’s nit the mufflers. It’s most likely the tune and resonator. Similar to the Mach 1.

Hmm, I don't know man, I actually like the sound of the stock system a little better as it sounds deeper and perfectly tuned. The Corsa is a little louder but not as deep or as cleanly tuned. Overall though I'm nitpicking...they both sound great and the Corsa tips definitely look better.

Love the car and the videos, big fan. However, Im probably the minority here when I say not a fan of Corsa exhaust. Its overplayed and overdone and they are just loud to be loud, no real tone. Personally, I think the stock sounded really good. I do really like the black tips though...sorry, not trying to bash, just being honest.
