@@Boostyboys1 tune can disable the check engine light...everyone should have a tune anyways if youre modded...thats one of the best things you can do and one of the first things you should do. Dont do mods trying to avoid a tune like some do (idk why other than trying to keep a warrenty that will prob get denied anyways lol)

I've not had issues with either one of my catless mustangs smelling bad. However my old z06 smelled horrible.

That might have to do with where you get your gas from mine when I fill up with e85 or Valero 93 it doesn't smell but with 7/11 93 it smells like shit who knows why

Hey, what is your opinion on your MT-82 transmission? Do you have any issues with shifting when it's cold outside (below 50 degrees)? I find that mine (17 GT) is incredibly notchy until it warms up, and will even slightly grind the 1-2 shift when it's below 30 degrees outside. I have the MGW shifter installed, which made a HUGE difference, but obviously did not remedy all of the cold shift issues. Once the car has about 10-15 miles on it, it shifts like butter. Do you have any high rpm lockouts with the Barton? I don't really have "lockouts" so to speak, but at 6k rpm or more, the 1-2 shift can't be rushed. It's definitely a much more deliberate shift than a quick shift (I always lift, no power shifting). Also, if they car isn't fully warmed up, sometimes on the 3-4 shift I get a weird blocking issue. It doesn't prevent me from going in gear, but it feels like there's something in the way that has to move before I can go fully into gear. The MT82 drives me crazy...if it's not fully warmed it, you have to drive the car like an old man.

I think everyone has the issues you stated. Some not as bad as others but none are flawless. This is my 3rd mt82 equipped mustang so i don't absolutely hate it however it is definitely not the smoothest trans. This car had a hang up feel going into second and the barton fixed most of that. I have yet to try changing the fluid to the secret mix that everyone says does wonders.

I was probably 15, my dad had a cj5 jeep. Picked it up pretty much right away. I had manual dirt bikes before that though so it the same thing just applied differently.
